Laura Haddock In Marc Jacobs – ‘Transformers: The Last Knight’ Tokyo Premiere

The ‘Transformers: The Last Knight’ epic promo tour came to an end on Thursday (July 20) in Tokyo, Japan.

Laura Haddock served up no surprises opting for yet another gown in a neutral hue for her last hurrah.

In fact, the major surprise is that her gown was created by Marc Jacobs, as the designers red carpet looks tend to be on the short or quirky side.

I love how Laura’s beige lace, silver sequin embroidered gown is imbued with old Hollywood glamour, which is further amped up by her 1920s retro hairstyle.

While there wasn’t much variety in the colour palette of this promo tour, Laura did herself proud as each gown was simply breath-taking.

Dove Cameron In Marc Jacobs – 2017 ESPYS

The one thing you can say about Dove Cameron’s style, is that she doesn’t take the easy, safe option.

And that was once again the case at the 2017 ESPYS on Wednesday (July 12) in LA.

This Marc Jacobs Spring 2017 silhouette is quite tricky, but the shimmering fabrication ensures it makes a dazzling statement that will leave a lasting impression.

A high neckline and long sleeves keep the piece wearable and contemporary, with strappy sandals enhancing the glam factor.

Kristen Wiig In Marc Jacobs – ‘Despicable Me 3’ LA Premiere

Kristen Wiig was also at the ‘Despicable Me 3’ LA premiere on Saturday (June 24) along with Alice McCall and Miranda Cosgrove.

Right off the bat, I’m sure many will be glad to see that she styled her hair into a fresher, less bowl-cut shape this time out.

But, the rest of her look could fall into slightly less favourable critique.

While I appreciate the playfulness of this brightly hued Marc Jacobs silk chiffon dress, the entirety of the ensemble just didn’t fully come together. The belt struck a constraining note, with her black wrap sandals ending the frock with a heavy thump.

The Irene Neuwirth One of a Kind bejeweled necklace also overcooked it while perhaps enhancing the slight twee factor of that poufy skirt.

Zosia Mamet In Marc Jacobs – ‘The Beguiled’ New York Premiere

Zosia Mamet made a bold appearance at the New York premiere of ‘The Beguiled’ on Thursday (June 22).

The actress went daringly short in a thigh-skimming dress from Marc Jacobs Fall 2017 collection- and the extreme choices didn’t end there.

Heavy purple platform shoes and blue eyeshadow didn’t quite give this look the party vibe Zosia was possibly going for.

It’s a shame because the dress itself had potential. If the ‘Girls’ actress just let the dress do all the talking, perhaps this would have turned out better.

However, I think most people will object to her hair being too close in colour to her dress more than anything else.

Heidi Klum In Marc Jacobs – Heidi Klum By Rankin Book Launch

Heidi Klum was in New York City on Tuesday (June 6) to celebrate the launch of ‘Heidi Klum by Rankin’ at Bookmarc.

It was all gold everything as the supermodel showed off her endless legs in a thigh-skimming Marc Jacobs dress. The high neck and bell sleeves balanced out this look to avoid a flesh-overload.

Whilst I love the Olgana Paris ‘La Delicate’ T-bar leather sandals, I wish Heidi could have had an up-do to make this ensemble a little more high fashion.

It feels a little top-heavy at the moment, and it would have given us a chance to admire the shoulders and neckline of this dress.

‘Baywatch’ Berlin Photocall

The promo tour for ‘Baywatch’ continued in Berlin, Germany, where the three main ‘Baywatch’ beauties were in attendance at the film’s photocall on Tuesday (May 30).

Priyanka Chopra: Channeling a girly, pretty mood, Priyanka wore a white lace Marc Jacobs frock styled with Schutz shoes and Nirav Modi jewels. The slight high-low hemline with the extra lace in the back seemed to translate a bit oddly, like the hemline was cut incorrectly.

Alexandra Daddario
: I was a bit confused by Alexandra’s dsquared2 dress, which could have held potential if it wasn’t for the deep plunge and the booties that placed it firmly into the fall season—and quite far away from any beach vibes.

Kelly Rohrbach: Kelly kept it short and sassy in a glitzy, patterned Missoni Pre-Fall 2017 mini. A sandal would have fared better here than the pumps.
