TV Correspondents @ The 2013 Emmy Awards

Usually I kinda gloss over the correspondents prior to a main event, but these ladies are not to be left in the shade on the night of the 2013 Primetime Emmy Awards.

Rocsi Diaz: The ‘Entertainment Tonight’ weekend host looked drop-dead-gorgeous wearing a Michael Costello cobalt-blue strapless gown with a peaked neckline central slit and ruffled mermaid hemline. Loren Ridinger jewels and gold peep-toes completed her look. It may be too early to say this is the best of the night, but this has me drooling.

Giuliana Rancic: The ‘E News’ host looked her best yet, glowing in a Mikael D cornflower blue strapless sweetheart mermaid gown with silver embellishments which she styled with a black clutch and complementary jewels. That bob works so much better for her. This whole looks is so chic and sophisticated. She knocked it out of the fashion ballpark.

Audi & Altuzarra's Emmy Awards 2013 Kick-Off Party

Audi and Altuzarra hosted a Emmy Awards 2013 Kick-Off Party at Cecconi’s Restaurant in California last night, but not one wore Altuzarra – strangely.

Jessica Pare: The ‘Mad Man’ actress is always impeccably dressed, and this event was no exception. She wore a navy Bibhu Mohapatra beaded lace peplum dress from the Resort 2014 collection styled with Casadei ‘Blade’ pumps, a black Jimmy Choo clutch while sparkling in Stephen Webster jewels with a wavy ‘do completing her look.

Julie Bowen: The ‘Modern Family’ star was also sparkling in her Jenny Packham silver beaded scoop-neck dress styled with metallic Jimmy Choo ‘Lance’ sandals their ‘Tube’ clutch.

Kate Flannery: Opting for a dress in a dark hue, ‘The Office’ star wore a Tadashi Shoji Fall 2013 neoprene cap-sleeve dress with a metallic lace overlay styled with a pretty black ribbon bow belt.

NYFW Spring 2014 Red Carpet Wish List

New York Fashion Week came to a close yesterday evening, so here is my final roundup of looks I wish to see on the red carpet.

Calvin Klein: We all know Rooney Mara is going to pick one of the black looks from this collection, so I hope it is this one with its unique halter detail, contrasting fabrics and interesting fringe detailing.

J. Mendel: I would love to see this gown on someone with Mila Kunis’ dark colouring. The coral lace gown would look gorgeous against her skin tone and naturally smouldering eyes.

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge In Jenny Packham - Tusk Conservation Awards

Prince William, Duke of Cambridge and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge attended The Tusk Conservation Awards held at The Royal Society in London this evening.

For her first formal event since giving birth to son Prince George less than two months ago, Catherine turned to her favourite designer Jenny Packham, who has just presented her Spring 2014 show during New York Fashion Week.

I really wanted to be really excited about her much-anticipated first black-tie event but I was considerably underwhelmed by this effort.

Mostly because this ready-to-wear gown pales in comparison to her previous Jenny Packham stunners – most notably the teal-green gown worn to the ‘Our Greatest Team Rises BOA Olympic Concert’ and the pearlescent rose sequin gown worn to the ARK 10th Anniversary gala dinner.

All I see here is a bunch of sequins, a droopy empire waist and an odd back panel.

I know the world is going gaga for this look right now, but I find myself more drawn to the tuxedo-clad William – and this is coming from the human magpie.

Kate Winslet In Jenny Packham - 'Labor Day' Toronto Film Festival Premiere

A radiant Kate Winslet took to the red carpet at the Ryerson Theatre in Toronto, Canada yesterday evening for the ‘Labor Day’ premiere during the 2013 Toronto International Film Festival.

The British actress look oh-so-very-elegant wearing a black Jenny Packham bespoke cap sleeve gown with a v-neckline and Swarovski embellishment at the empire waist, which draped over her burgeoning baby bump.

Subtle jewels, a silver clutch plus a chic chignon with side-swept waves and flawless makeup completed her maternity red carpet look.

Even though I have a huge feel of déjà vu, Kate still looks gorgeous.

Julianne Hough In Jenny Packham - 'The Mortal Instruments City of Bones' LA Premiere

Julianne Hough attended the premiere of ‘The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones’ held at ArcLight Cinemas Cinerama Dome in Hollywood, California alongside Lily Collins, Bella Thorne, Robert Sheehan, Ashley Greene, Kevin Zegers and Jamie Campbell Bower.

The dancer/actress continued to showcase her sartorial style wearing a Jenny Packham Fall 2013 ensemble, which featured a beautiful floral-beaded crop top and bright-red tapered trousers, which she teamed with Stuart Weitzman ivory ‘Nudist’ strappy sandals.

If you ever wondered what celebs carry in their clutches, Julianne’s clear crystal-accented Jenny Packham ‘Mystery Palace’ clutch reveals a Chanel compact, lipstick and her white iPhone.

Cheap-looking clutch aside, this is a great look. I love how she continues to mix things up on the red carpet. The red really pops against the black backdrop and carpet.

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge In Jenny Packham - St Mary's Hospital

Prince William and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge left St. Mary’s hospital in Paddington, London this evening with their baby son, who is third in line to the British throne.

Both mummy and daddy wore blue, with mummy’s bespoke cornflower-blue crepe-de-chine dress courtesy of her favourite designer, Jenny Packham.

If it wasn’t bespoke I’m sure it would be sold out by now.

Her polka-dot dress was somewhat reminiscent of the polka-dot dress Diana, Princess of Wales wore while leaving the same hospital carrying Prince William back on June 22, 1982.

Showcasing blow-dried soft curls, Catherine styled her look with La Pierre Imperia wedges and subtle silver earrings.

Earlier on this evening, I said on twitter that I hoped the newborn would be named George.

Followers came back with a lot of great suggestions, including Spencer (now my joint favourite, as a nice homage to William’s late mother), James, Albert, Edward (an homage to Edward John Spencer, Diana’s father’s name), Daniel and Philip – all traditional names fit for a royal baby.
