Tracee Ellis Ross In Christian Dior – Vanity Fair and Lancome Paris Toast Women in Hollywood

Tracee Ellis Ross joined Zendaya Coleman for the Vanity Fair and Lancome Paris Toast Women in Hollywood on Thursday (March 1) in West Hollywood, California.

This Dior Pre-Fall 2018 look was feeling quite rudimental until you get to the openwork black leather skirt.

I much prefer Tracee’s free-spirited, cooler version of this look, which many will liken to the sheer trend with leather.

A Dior tarot clutch and Dior necklaces accessorized the look along with lace accented pumps.

Jennifer Lawrence In Christian Dior Couture – ‘Red Sparrow’ New York Premiere

Jennifer Lawrence was back on the red carpet for the New York premiere of her latest film, ‘Red Sparrow’ on Monday (February 26), opting for another look from Dior’s Spring 2018 Couture collection.

Do I wish the lining/bra was less visible?

Yes, but in the grand scheme of things, I don’t think it takes away too much from the overall dramatic effect of this look.

The styling probably sells the look more than anything else, as premise of this film is all about seduction after all.

The CFDA, WWD & Variety Celebrate Runway To Red Carpet Initiative

To celebrate the inaugural launch of the Runway to Red Carpet initiative, the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA), Variety and Women’s Wear Daily (WWD) hosted a star-studded luncheon on Tuesday (February 20) at the Chateau Marmont, which was sponsored by Karma Automotive.

A range of starlets were in attendance. However, if you had just looked at their ensembles, you’d never know they were at the same event—so diverse were their modes of dress.

Olivia Munn: I like the sunny outlook of this Veronica Beard Spring 2018 warm-weather-ready suit set, with the drawstring detailing adding an element of feminine allure. Obviously, the shorts didn’t stand up so well to the creases from sitting.

Lea Michele: Opting for a more romantically feminine offering, Lea wore a Zuhair Murad floral gown with a ruffled peplum. I can imagine this dress looked very pretty in the garden outside.

January Jones: I appreciate the directional, urban-forward mood the actress was setting with this Off-White Resort 2018 look—complete with that slick-back ponytail. However, I know the deconstructed, pinstripe skirt will have many saying it looks as if she wrapped a bolt of men’s shirting material around her waist.

Jennifer Lawrence In Christian Dior Couture – ‘Red Sparrow’ London Premiere

Jennifer Lawrence was back on the red carpet following the BAFTAs, for the London premiere of ‘Red Sparrow’ at Vue West End this evening (February 19).

I was enchanted by her previous Dior Spring 2018 Couture look, but this one blew me away.

Her organza Couture ball gown embroidered with pale gold sequins might just be my favourite look from Jennifer since her ‘The Hunger Games’ LA premiere Prabal Gurung gown.

I adore the mix of colours, the vibrancy and the carefree boho feel amped up by the curls. She very much looked like she was in her element here.

Rose gold Sara Weinstock Isadora hexagon drop earrings completed her look.

Are you equally excited by this look?

2018 BAFTA Awards Red Carpet Roundup

Black gowns dominated the 2018 BAFTAs on Sunday (February 18) at the Royal Albert Hall in London, England, but the red carpet was by no means boring with celebrities showing their support for the Time’s Up movement in a wide array of striking looks.

Letitia Wright: Showing a darker side of Gucci, the ‘Black Panther’ actress, who was one of the presenters on the night, looks charming in a belted dress. The bug-like embroidery perks up the black velvet base. Some have remarked how the brands looks sometimes suffer from too many details, but this one has the balance right.

Sally Hawkins: The Best Actress in a Leading Role nominee for ‘The Shape of Water’, shone in a Ralph & Russo gown. This is a more sensual look for her with the slashes in the bodice revealing a coquettish hint of skin. I wish she played into the theme more with romantic wavy hair.

Anya Taylor-Joy: Last year’s Rising Star Award nominee embraced the sexy glamour of Dolce & Gabbana in a black lace dress and golden crown. I can already hear the chants of people wishing the skirt was lined, and I must agree.

Jennifer Lawrence In Christian Dior Couture – 2018 BAFTAs

Jennifer Lawrence was of course in Dior Couture for the 2018 BAFTAs in London this evening (February 18).

The union has had its ups and downs, but things have been nothing but plain sailing in recent times.

This was perfectly demonstrated by her Spring 2018 Couture black tuxedo gown featuring pale-pink stole sleeves embroidered with organza flowers.

On one had the look is classically timeless, yet on the other, it possesses contemporary vision.

I’m in total awe.
