Felicity Jones In Christian Dior – 2017 Glamour Women Of The Year Awards

Felicity Jones attended the 2017 Glamour Women Of The Year Awards on Tuesday (June 6).

The ‘Rogue One: A Star Wars Story’ actress looked polished in this navy silk dress from Christian Dior’s Fall 2017 collection.

A winning combination of Parisian chic and Victoriana style ruffles, this dress was truly breath-taking. The backless detail was surprising but welcomed from the usually covered up actress.

Her choice of a nude lip and Dior Fine Jewelry ‘Milieu du Siecle’ white gold and diamond earrings showed restraint, elegance, and sophistication.

Bella Hadid In Christian Dior – Dior x Sephora: Diorshow Pump n Volume Mascara Event

The Dior x Sephora event to celebrate the launch of the Diorshow Pump n Volume Mascara took place in LA on Thursday (June 1).

Bella Hadid, the face of the new mascara, was on hand to kick start the celebrations wearing a Christian Dior Spring 2017 rose tulle embroidered dress styled with a rose-gold Dior backpack.

Now, I know your feelings regarding Bella’s style during Cannes and the Met Gala have been less than favourable, but there something quite refreshing about this look I found myself warming to.

Perhaps because this is the most fabric she’s worn in recent times, but I’m also swept away by the girlish mood, her being fully hydrated and the pretty embroidery.

The cups are perhaps a tad small (or positioned incorrectly), but I’m enamoured nonetheless.

Rooney Mara In Christian Dior – 2017 Cannes Film Festival Closing Ceremony

Rooney Mara made a surprise appearance on the red carpet for the 2017 Cannes Film Festival closing ceremony on Sunday night (May 28).

Always treading the line between gothic and romantic, she veered more to the latter wearing a beautiful white silk embroidered dress by Dior.

I adore the dainty flared silhouette and the classic black and white colour palette.

Usually I’m searching for a little bit more from Rooney, but she delivers on all fronts here for me.

Cannes Film Festival Day 7 Red Carpet Roundup

Day 7 of the Cannes Film Festival brought with it some stunning entrances as part of the 70th anniversary celebration. Here are more looks that took to the red carpet on Tuesday (May 23)

Irina Shayk: The model wasn’t at the 70th screening but she was at the ‘Hikari (Radiance)’ premiere, where it would seem to have taken the title of the film into account in her lemon-bright Atelier Versace custom gown styled with Lorraine Schwartz canary yellow diamonds to match. The dress was not only sheer Versace with its ruched, slit seductiveness, it was also sheer through and through although its lemony hue somewhat distracted from the see-through effect.

Bianca Balti: For the 70th anniversary screening, Bianca opted for a Dolce and Gabbana Alta Moda embroidered gown styled with DeGrisogono statement earrings. With a faint kimono-esque style, the dress held a sense of restrained elegance—although I did find the embellished heels to be unnecessary to complete the picture.

Kristin Scott Thomas In Christian Dior Couture – Cannes Film Festival 70th Anniversary Celebration

Following her dramatic pink gown from yesterday evening, Kristin Scott Thomas toned things down for the 70th anniversary Cannes Film Festival celebration this evening (May 23).

If you’ve been looking for something non-princess-like, you might want to look away now.

The colour perfectly complements her pale English rose complexion, but the shape falls flat and does nothing for her.

Cannes isn’t exactly known for its subtlety, so I feel her accessory choices could have been bolder.

Subtle yes, but forgettable.

Elle Fanning In Christian Dior Couture – Cannes Film Festival 70th Anniversary Celebration

Cannes Film Festival is serving as a fashion transition to superstar status for Elle Fanning, and that continued during the 70th anniversary celebration this evening (May 23).

The young actress wore a beautifully delicate Christian Dior Spring 2017 gown which was ever so charming and eye-catching, yet still youthful and fresh.

It’s always satisfying to see style growth.

Perhaps even more alluring is how comfortable she clearly feels wearing it.

I’m excited to see more from her.
