Jennifer Aniston In Christian Dior - 'Call Me Crazy A Five Film' Premiere

Jennifer Aniston made a return to the red carpet yesterday evening for the premiere of Lifetime’s ‘Call Me Crazy: A Five Film’, held at Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood, California.

She may have been away for a while, but it appears that one thing has not changed: her love for wearing all black.

On this occasion she didn’t wear an LBD; she instead opted to wear a Dior Spring 2013 tuxedo-style bustier with black shorts – which was presented as an LBD on the runway.

I really tried to embrace this Jennifer Aniston look, but I have never seen her in a look more unflattering.

She has an amazing body, but the top half makes her look very wide… super wide.

A black Tom Ford clutch with gold detailing and Dior pumps accessorized her outfit, with a simple ponytail and side-swept bangs completing her look.

You may remember that Allison Williams and Sun Li wore the runway look earlier this year.

MTV Movie Awards Ladies

Here is a round-up of the rest of the looks from Sunday night’s 2013 MTV Movie Awards.

Claire Julien: I don’t know who she is either, but according to IMDB she’s an actress who appeared in ‘The Dark Knight Rises’. Despite her newbie status, the actress was able to snag herself a Christian Dior Spring 2013 frock. The pale-pink satin duchesse and metallic-blue organza one-shoulder mini dress was styled with some yawn-worthy nude peep-toes and a simple updo. The dress deserved better styling.

Crystal Reed: The ‘Teen Wolf’ star opted for a sweet red lace mini dress with a nude tulle skirt. She styled her look with a gold clutch and nude pumps which are so nude they look like a second skin. The only thing I don’t like about this look is her hairdo. It looks like a wrap-and-set before sitting under a dryer.

Quvenzhané Wallis: The Oscar-nominated actress traded in her signature puppy bag for a kitty version to accompany her printed frock and lilac denim jacket. Maybe she made the switch after her good luck charm didn’t bring home the gold at the Oscars.

Brittany Snow: With so many summery frocks on the red carpet, I was surprised to see Brittany select this Lela Rose Fall 2013 navy dress with embellished shoulders which was shortened from the runway and styled with Giuseppe Zanotti metallic pumps. The look is sexy and sophisticated, but I wish she’d opted for more colour. Spring has sprung…let’s embrace it.

Marion Cotillard In Christian Dior & Chloé - Maud Fontenoy Foundation Annual Gala

After wearing Christian Dior nearly exclusively for her recent ‘Rust and Bone’ promo tour, Marion Cotillard found another occasion to showcase the designer at yesterday’s Maud Fontenoy Foundation Annual Gala at the Hotel de la Marine in Paris, France.

While it may be no surprise that the actress donned Dior for this ocean-conservation fundraiser, what was more unexpected was her mannish approach this time.

Her Fall 2013 ensemble, featuring the signature houndstooth check, lost some of its runway attraction when paired with the petrol-blue ‘Santorini’ collarless blazer by Chloé. The cool edge of the razor-sharp jacket was compromised, and Dior almost unbelievably turned into a day-at-the-office look.

She had a Miss Dior bag on her shoulder, but even that couldn’t make up for her lacklustre black shoe. I desperately missed the black-and-white stiletto seen on the model, though I’m glad Marion opted for a similarly bold fuchsia lippie.

You may remember that Katie Holmes also wore this Chloé piece earlier this year in New York City, and I actually liked her interpretation slightly better.

Emmy Rossum In Christian Dior - New Yorkers for Children 10th Anniversary Spring Dinner

Emmy Rossum looked lovely in head-to-toe Dior last night at the New Yorkers for Children 10th Anniversary Spring Dinner in New York City.

The ‘Shameless’ actress wore a black silk crepe embroidered Dior dress accented with Dior shoes and a Dior clutch. Her Dior Fine Jewelry ‘Cygne Blanc’ white gold and diamond earrings and ‘Cygne Blac’ white gold and diamond ring were the icing on the cake.

The star always looks flawless, and last night was no different. Her skin was luminous, and her baby pink lips were a fun and chic nod to spring beauty trends.

While the dress and simple hair chignon are elegant and timeless, the fun jewelry and makeup make the look appropriately youthful and fun for the young star.

You may have noticed that Emmy’s dress is very similar to the one worn by Olga Kurylenko yesterday evening.

Olga Kurylenko In Christian Dior - 'To The Wonder' LA Premiere

Olga Kurylenko walked the red carpet at the ‘To The Wonder’ movie premiere in Los Angeles last night.

The ‘Oblivion’ actress wore a delicate Christian Dior Spring 2013 gown.

While the blush-hued, high-to-low hemmed dress is lovely, I am still left underwhelmed. An interesting hair style, a dramatic pair of sandals or a brightly colored bracelet would have all helped amp up the volume.

Still, while no one will remember Olga’s look here, it isn’t a disaster. She looks perfectly nice.

Do you agree? Does the look need a little more?
