America Ferrera In Alaïa - ‘Cesar Chavez’ Washington Premiere

America Ferrera attended the ‘Cesar Chavez’ premiere at The Newseum on Tuesday (March 18) in Washington, DC.

Like her co-star Rosario Dawson, America wore an LBD in a shimmering patterned material, but her fitted frock was from Alaïa.

Styled with a black cropped Giambattista Valli jacket, the actress complemented her look with metallic-silver Giuseppe Zanotti pumps and a silver clutch.

Bette Midler In Azzedine Alaia - Vanity Fair Oscar Party 2014

Bette Midler attended the 2014 Vanity Fair Oscar Party on Sunday (March 2) in West Hollywood, California following her dazzling entrance on the red carpet for the main event.

She wore a custom Alaia 3/4 sleeve striped dress that she also wore while performing ‘Wind Beneath My Wings’ as part of the Academy’s annual ‘In Memoriam’ honoring those who Hollywood has lost this past year.

The elegant dress was styled with Lorraine Schwartz jewels and Christian Louboutin shoes.

2014 Critics’ Choice Movie Awards Red Carpet Roundup

2014 Critics' Choice Movie Awards Red Carpet Roundup

We’ve seen a roundup of the men, so here is a roundup of the ladies who attended the 19th Annual Critics’ Choice Movie Awards at Barker Hangar on Thursday (January 16) in Santa Monica, California alongside the likes of Cate Blanchett, Amy Adams and Lupita Nyong’o.

Meryl Streep: Like Julia Roberts – her red carpet pal – and Matthew McConaughey, Meryl opted for sunglasses on the red carpet, much to my chagrin. The actress wore a Stella McCartney embroidery-detailed navy dress with flared sleeves styled with black tights, Ferragamo pumps and a fold-over Louboutin clutch. I’m rarely impressed with her red carpet looks and this is no exception. I wish Helen Mirren’s stylist would take Meryl under his wing.

Oprah Winfrey: The TV host wore an emerald green Azzedine Alaia dress, belted at the waist to accentuate her hourglass shape, which she styled with Lorraine Schwartz jewels.

Abigail Breslin: Her pastel-grey Badgley Mischka gown makes her look much older and the colour is washing her out. The only thing I like here is the hair and makeup.

Lady Gaga In Azzedine Alaia – Out In New York City

Lady Gaga In Azzedine Alaïa - Out In New York City

Earlier this week Lady Gaga was causing a commotion in the streets of New York City, as per.

The singer donned a signature Alaïa black dress we have seen on the likes of Naomi Campbell and Alicia Keys, which has unfortunately been stained with the white talcum powder she has been applying all over her body lately.

Her look was styled with a black sheer ruffled shirt and blazer from Saint Laurent; she accessorized with sunglasses and reading glasses (only Gaga) and with a Fendi ‘Adele 1328′ bag from the new ‘Selleria’ collection customized with her name.

The doctor’s bag is made of Roman leather and adjoined with 1,328 Selleria tone-on-tone stitches.

Fendi have released a video to celebrate the new line.

30th Annual Fashion Group International Night Of Stars Red Carpet RoundUp

Fashion Star 1

A collection of other haute guests joined Miley Cyrus and Alexa Chung at the 30th Annual Night of Stars, presented by Fashion Group International, held yesterday at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City. Here, a look at their statement-making entrances.

Zoe Kravitz: The starlet assured us that the cropped top trend is still alive and kicking with an Alexander Wang ensemble featuring a reptilian-embossed bralette and high-waisted long skirt. With such a strong, skin-baring moment, I would have preferred to see slightly more understated styling, rather than her braided updo and supremely smokey eye.

Joan Smalls: The model posed in a plunging Alexander Wang tuxedo halter jumpsuit that balanced a carefree and come-hither attitude with its daring lines, yet sporty dropped waist and pockets. She topped it off with wavy ponytail and and a pair of metallic-laced cage sandals.

Taylor Schilling: Working a Zuhair Murad white frock, embellished with black stencil flowers, the ‘Orange is the New Black’ star stayed far away from her character’s colours. She did add a punch via a forest-green Vince Camuto clutch and a magenta lip, finishing the ensemble with Nancy Newberg jewels and Kurt Geiger ankle-strap sandals.
