Zendaya Coleman In Vivienne Westwood – 2015 Oscars

Zendaya Coleman In Vivienne Westwood - 2015 Oscars

Zendaya Coleman was also at the 2015 Oscars, held on Sunday (February 22) at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, California.

She cut a statuesque profile in a Vivienne Westwood satiny off-white gown that featured the designer’s signature, period-inspired draped silhouette.

The off-the-shoulder detail, which fell into a sash at the back, created an elegant line with Chopard jewels also elevating the look.

While the dress was slightly mature for the young starlet, she attempted to add her own hip edge via a dreadlock-inspired ’do that ultimately nearly overwhelmed the more sophisticated—some may even say bridal—ensemble.

Zendaya Coleman In Vivienne Westwood - 2015 Grammy Awards

Zendaya Coleman took to the red carpet at the 2015 Grammy Awards at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California on Sunday (February 8).

I’m sure I’m not the only who did a double-take upon seeing the starlet’s entrance; she took the music awards night as the opportunity to debut a new pixie ’do that was nothing if not a radical change from her previously long strands.

To go with her short cut, she wore a Vivienne Westwood Resort 2015 multicolour, jewel-toned gown with a leg-baring, high front slit and cape-style back.

A row of edgy cocktail rings, including an Amrapali gold ring, a Carrera y Carrera gold ring, a Leticia Linton citrine ring, and a Jack Vartanian gold ring, along with a Jack Vartanian ear climber were the finishing flourishes for her look.

Zendaya Coleman In Sergio Hudson & Self-Portrait – Essence Black Women in Music Event & Smashbox Studios Grand Re-Opening Party

Zendaya Coleman In Sergio Hudson & Self-Portrait - Essence Black Women in Music Event & Smashbox Studios Grand Re-Opening Party

Zendaya Coleman has been M.I.A. from the red carpet, but her love for colour hasn’t diminished during that time. Last night (February 5) she attended two red carpet events.

Essence 6th annual Black Women in Music Event: The singer/actress wore a black and white polka dot body suit and colour block pencil skirt from Sergio Hudson’s Spring 2015 collection. You’d be forgiven if you thought this was Moschino as it embodies the same effervescent spirit we see from the Italian brand. With the look so visually impactful, Zendaya kept the styling uber simple.

Smashbox Studios Grand Re-Opening Party: In total contrast to her first look, Zendaya wore a Self-Portrait perforated dress fashioned with extra flare via the fringed detailing. Once again she kept the styling very simple.

Which look do you prefer? First, second or none of the above?

I would say the first was my favourite as I don’t like the way the Self-Portrait dress just hangs off her.

Zendaya Coleman In Georgine – 2014 American Music Awards

Zendaya Coleman In Georgine - 2014 American Music Awards

Zendaya Coleman also attended the 2014 American Music Awards, hosted on Sunday evening (November 23) at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in Los Angeles, California.

I always look forward to seeing what this burgeoning starlet has up her sleeve on the red carpet, as she’s constantly reinventing her look.

This time, she channeled a distinct ’70s luxe spirit in a brushed metallic Georgine Spring 2015 trench coat worn over matching palazzo pants and a mint-green leather bandeau top with Gucci heels.

Her explosion of curls was just as much a part of the outfit and cemented the young Diana Ross inspiration.

While they played second fiddle to that hair and her golden ensemble, her signature massive hoop earrings made a repeat appearance and she added a tiny nose ring and a smattering of cocktail rings for additional pop-star panache.

Zendaya Coleman In Nha Khanh – 2014 Nickelodeon HALO Awards

Zendaya Coleman In Nha Khanh - 2014 Nickelodeon HALO Awards

Zendaya Coleman attended the 2014 Nickelodeon HALO Awards held at Pier 36 on Saturday (November 15) in New York City.

Looking like an extra from the movie ‘Grease’, the actress wore a black and white floral-print dress with a sliced waist from Nha Khanh’s Spring 2015 collection.

The look is ladylike and chic, with the leather jacket lending a contemporary twist, playing into her uber-cool style without screaming “trying too hard”.

Retro waves, a bold red lip and simple black Louboutins completed her ladylike-with-an-edge look.
