Zendaya Coleman In Emanuel Ungaro - 'Letters To The Men I Have Loved' Book Launch Dinner

Zendaya Coleman attended the ‘Letters To The Men I Have Loved’ book launch dinner on Monday (June 30) in Los Angeles, California.

The actress/singer, who many of you thought overcooked her BET Awards look, toned things down on this occasion.

She was pretty in pink, donning yet another Emanuel Ungaro Resort 2014 look, this time featuring a silk tee and textured skirt with buttoned side pockets.

The look was styled with a floral brooch and black and silver Saint Laurent sandals, no doubt to complement the black and white trim on her top.

Much more like it, or do you still feel her style is too forced?

Zendaya Coleman In Emanuel Ungaro - 2014 BET Awards

Zendaya Coleman walked the red carpet of the 2014 BET Awards yesterday (June 29) at Nokia Plaza L.A. LIVE.

The singer and actress wore a skirt and top from the Emanuel Ungaro Resort 2014 collection.

I think I can safely say that if anyone else had worn this ensemble, I wouldn’t have been a fan, but with her edgy and quirky approach to fashion, Zendaya owns this, and owns it well.

By trading out the blouse shown on the runway for a simple bandeau and adding a hat and some long pigtails, she adds an age-appropriateness and her signature stamp of cool.

What say you? A heart-felt ‘yes’ or a pained ‘no’?

Zendaya Coleman In Peter Pilotto - Pre-BET Awards Dinner

Zendaya Coleman made a splash on the red carpet of the Pre-BET Awards Dinner on Saturday (June 28) at Milk Studios in Hollywood, California.

The young starlet continued to showcase her bold approach to dressing in a Peter Pilotto Spring 2014 asymmetrical frock rendered in a colourful, kaleidoscope-like engineered print.

The dress also featured the sculpted, full-skirt silhouette that was a hallmark of the label’s spring collection.

Not content to let the dress steal all the attention, Zendaya accessorized with stacks and stacks of golden double-wrist bangles, along with a rather gigantic pair of hoop earrings.

She carried it off, but I would likely have been just as content if she had left well enough alone with her matte red lip and matching pumps.

Zendaya Coleman In Romeo Hunte & Alexia Ulibarri - SiriusXM & 106 & Park

Zendaya Coleman has often said that the late Aaliyah has been an inspiration to her. So the young singer must be beyond thrilled to be playing Aaliyah in an upcoming biopic for the Lifetime network.

The biopic, ‘Aaliyah: Princess of R&B’, is based on the best-selling book ‘Aaliyah: More Than a Woman’ and will tell the story of the ‘One in a Million’ singer’s life and death, from her debut on ‘Star Search’ to her rise to fame and, finally, her tragic passing at age 22.

Zendaya stopped by ‘106 & Park’, SiriusXM and ‘Good Morning America’ on Tuesday (June 17) to discuss the role and showcase her sartorial style.

SiriusXM: First up, she donned a Romeo Hunte dress shirt with an off-centre collar for a unique twist. Pairing the look with Romeo Hunte ‘Crosby’ drop-crutch trousers in a plaid print, she amped up this mannish approach. Slicked-back tresses and black Christian Louboutin ‘So Kate’ pumps completed this directional look.

‘106 & Park’: Opting for blush tones, the actress/singer wore an Alexia Ulibarri sweater dress styled with another pair of ‘So Kate’ Louboutin pumps and a stack of gold bracelets on both wrists.

Both looks are great without trying too hard. I love how there is always a twist; however, the Romeo Hunte is my favourite.

Max Mara 1

A crush of luminous lovelies were on the scene at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles, California on Tuesday (June 10) for MaxMara And W Magazine’s cocktail party in honour of the Women in Film Max Mara Face Of The Future, Rose Byrne. Looks from MaxMara and its youthful Sportmax label were plentiful—naturally—with guests each bringing their own unique flair to the evening’s fashion.

Rose Byrne: As the party’s ‘it’ girl, Rose appropriately led the event with one of the more eye-catching, glittery ensembles, shining brightly in a Max Mara midnight-navy sequinned V-neck dress. She paired down the glitz factor with dual-tone, Jimmy Choo Kahlua pumps, neutral makeup and minimal jewels.

Ahna O’Reilly: Pretty in girly pink, Ahna stepped out in a Sportmax crepe dress with zipper detail, Stuart Weitzman ‘Nudist’ sandals and a contrasting blue Edie Parker ‘Edie’ clutch.

Kiernan Shipka: The young trendsetting starlet gave us a feminine look with edge via her demure MaxMara beaded white silk top and tougher Max Mara black leather skirt with feminine pleating. She added a pop of bold colour via a yellow Christian Louboutin studded bag along with strappy sandals.
