Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Rihanna is currently on vacation in Sardinia with her gal pals and she has been documenting it via her Twitter page.

Yesterday the singer flaunted her super-hot body rocking a pineapple-print Topshop playsuit which is unfortunately now sold out.

With her hair pulled up into a ponytail she kept her makeup relatively simple save for a pop of colour with some bright red lipstick.

She paired her tropical playsuit with white platform ankle strap sandals, a fringed Chanel bag, a lot of bling, chic shades and a Fleet Ilya visor.

Visors were a surprising addition to the runways for Fall 2012. We saw them mirrored at Alexander McQueen and Jonathan Saunders sent models down the runway wearing geometric-print or two-tone visors.

Do you see yourself rocking a visor? Or do they remind you too much of a golfing accessory?

Rihanna looks stunning on the cover of Harper’s Bazaar US for their August 2012 cover wearing a simple Calvin Klein dress and Neil Lane bracelet.

In fact she is stunning throughout the editorial shot by Camilla Akrans.

Even when wearing uber-sexy looks by Tom Ford, Balmain, Alexander Wang, Paco Rabanne and Ralph Lauren, the singer still looks soft, serene and approachable. It’s refreshing to see this side to her.

I adore the fresh-faced makeup they opted for on this occasion. The bronze eyes and lip colour is to die for.

The singer talks to the mag about sex, music and living life in the public eye.

You can read some extracts below. Be sure to buy this issue of Harper’s Bazaar which hits newsstands on July 17:

On her body: “I don’t know if there’s something going on with my body right now, but I’m eating everything in life! I miss my ass. It just went away! I need a butt. I have an idea of one, but it’s not living up to its full potential right now.”

On falling in love: “When I was in love, I fell so hard. I was really, really, really in love. The way it made me feel was priceless. And in a blink of an eye my whole life changed. Everything that I knew was different. I never thought I’d feel that pain in my life. I’m afraid of feeling that again.”

On her collaboration with Chris Brown: “The fans could have said, ‘We don’t want anything to do with it’. I understood that people had every right to be concerned about it. But I didn’t see it that way because I’m in a different place.”

On being rebellious: “[I'm] rebellious through my music, through my fashion, tattoos, and my hair. I have been conservative in my love life… it’s pretty much nonexistent. If I come across someone who I find really cool, I’ll hang out. But the minute I find that we’re getting too close I just—I don’t let people in.”

Rihanna may have been inspired by Blake Lively’s red Michael Kors suit before she stepped out of her London hotel yesterday.

The singer donned an Acne Pre-Fall 2012 tuxedo with pink satin lapels and stripe detailing which she paired with Simone Rocha glass heel brogues.

Sporting soft makeup including a pastel-pink lip colour, the star completed her look with elegant long tresses tumbling down her back and red talons to match her suit.

As far as street-style looks go, this is a good one for Rihanna.

Do you agree?

During Rhianna’s promo tour for her first movie, ‘Battleship’, she changed her hair colour, started a great debate about pajamas dressing and co-designed her own gown.

I know the majority of you hated her Emilio Pucci pajamas, but it was my favourite look from this tour.

Rihanna hit the red carpet last night for the LA premiere of her latest movie, ‘Battleship’, held at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live.

The singer draped an Adam Selman white halter gown over her toned body.

Her sexy gown with a thigh-high split, cowl neckline and an open back is let down by some lazy styling.

Is it me or does RiRi look like she just got out of the shower, towel dried her hair, threw this dress on hoping it would do all the work and apply red lippie to prevent her looking washed out and exhausted?

Her gown was styled with Vhernier and Neil Lane jewels plus her favourite Manolo Blahnik sandals in white.

Nice attempt, but I’m not wowed like I should be by this look.

Rihanna and Adam Selman have worked together on several occasion as he created her tour customs for Rihanna’s ‘Loud’ tour.

I was surprised at how Rihanna’s look was so subdued on the red carpet at the 2012 Met Gala, held in New York on Monday evening. I was expecting an over-the-top look with a ridiculous hairstyle.
But I was wrong.

The singer donned a sleek Tom Ford Fall 2012 backless crocodile dress which fit her like a glove.

Her long sleeve dress was teamed with some dangerous dark coloured talons and a dark nude lip colour.

I wish she opted for the trend of the night by opting for a dark lip shade.

Christian Louboutin heels completed her look.
