Chanel Fall 2014 Front Row

Chanel Fall 2014 Front RowHyper-luxe, double ‘C’-stocked supermarket aisles masqueraded as the super-chic catwalk for the Chanel Fall 2014 show, held during Paris Fashion Week today (March 4). Designer Karl Lagerfeld’s runway revelry at the magnificently transformed Grand Palais knew no bounds, as vivaciously clad models carted shopping baskets and browsed the canned goods. So it’s no surprise the Chanel-clad pretties sitting front row were having tons of fun, observing the shopaholic spectacle.

Rihanna
: Looking lovely in lilac, the songstress showed off a demure bouclé? dress with a cropped top and waist-cinching middle section. Adding her signature edge, she punched up the prim purple with a matching, gun-embellished bum bag and sneakers, alongside a gigantic, pearl-like wrist cuff and ’50s-inspired oversized, cat-eye shades.

Keira Knightley: Following the hourglass silhouette, Keira likewise flaunted her trim middle via a chic black-and-white number, made charming with cap sleeves and a bow detail on the cropped top, and accessorized with a tiny quilted Chanel, chain-strap handbag. Gold metallic pumps gave the monochrome look a shiny pop of attitude.

Christian Dior Fall 2014 Front Row

Christian Dior Fall 2014 Front Row

Christian Dior presented their Fall 2014 collection during Paris Fashion Week this morning, with a celeb-packed front row.

Rihanna: Perhaps the singer wanted her red Dior Pre-Fall 2014 mink coat to be the focus of her look, because she appears to be wearing little else. Ensuring she was centre of attention, the singer wore a Dior silk black dress with suspenders and stockings, which she styled with Dior ‘Mise en Dior’ necklace and bracelet with gold finish and cream resin pearls, Dior sunglasses and Dior leather gloves.

Jessica Alba: The actress took a more demure approach, wearing a Dior striped navy blue wool and cashmere coat, black wool jacket and black wool pants styled with chic white booties with a black toecap and contrast stitching, Dior ‘Tee Shirt’ tribal earrings with golden metal and palladium finish and a white Dior clutch.

Emma Roberts: The actress made a first appearance in the front row of Dior, working a chic downtown-cool look wearing a Dior black leather perfecto jacket, pale blue silk top and black pleated sheer skirt. I love the styling; she really nailed this edgier look, adding a metallic-silver Lady Dior bag, Dior ‘Tee Shirt’ tribal earrings with golden metal and palladium finish, Bionda Castana pumps and a hot-red lip.

Rihanna In Balmain – Front Row @ Balmain Fall 2014

Rihanna In Balmain - Front Row @ Balmain Fall 2014Rihanna was front and center at the Balmain Fall 2014 runway show on Thursday (February 27) during Paris Fashion Week in France.

The sultry songstress naturally wore one of designer Olivier Rousteing’s looks from the Balmain Pre-Fall 2014 collection.

The monochromatic, army-green ensemble, consisting of tie-front jacket, wrap skirt and oversized cargo coat, exuded a sporty-sensual appeal—especially given her more skin-baring interpretation. Even so, this look still retained a certain measure of sophistication to enhance the sexy edge.

More signature RiRi rebel-rocker elements came into focus via strappy metallic heels and a collection of knuckle and midi rings—not to mention a Cleopatra black bob and insanely cool, vibrant lilac lip.

Only the likes of Rihanna could pull of this hip-hop safari statement with such aplomb. This is how to make a fierce FROW entrance. Do you agree?

Rihanna For Vogue US March 2014

VOGUE HAS REQUESTED THE IMAGES BE REMOVED

Rihanna graces her third American Vogue cover, landing the coveted March issue which was photographed by David Sims.

Sporting a pixie cut, the singer wears a Louis Vuitton Spring 2014 beaded sheer top and embellished jeans on the cover, with the rest of her editorial seeing her wearing a selection of Spring 2014 looks from Saint Laurent, Givenchy, Alexander Wang, Rodarte, Alexander McQueen, Miu Miu, Versace, Maison Martin Margiela and Calvin Klein, for which she dons a white wig.

She talks to the mag about being famous, experimenting with men’s clothing, being rebellious, Instagram, her painful fashion choices and moving to New York.

You can read more, and see the rest of her editiorial over at Vogue.com.

On being famous: “I never wanted to be famous. I just wanted my music to be heard all over the world.”

On experimenting with men’s clothing: “When I was thirteen or fourteen, I didn’t want to wear what my mom wanted me to wear. I was very much a boy in my style, my demeanor. All my friends were guys. I loved things that boys did. I loved being easy with my clothes. I loved wearing hats and scarves and snapbacks on my head. It was my way of rebelling. I wanted to dress like my brother. After a while, it was just easier for Mom to dress us both the same. We wore the same jeans, the same T-shirts.”

On being rebellious: “I don’t go out of my way to be a rebel or to have that perception, but a lot of the decisions I make, a lot of the direction I want to move, is against the grain, or against society’s tight lane, and I’m aware of that sometimes. It might not be fitting with the norm, but that’s OK for me.”

On Instagram: “Instagram is my way of communicating to the world. When I’m on tour, I keep fans in the loop. I don’t really think about it too much. Literally, I can be sitting in a car and be bored, so I do a selfie just because I’m bored. Or if my dog is running around in circles and I think that’s funny, I put it on Instagram. I follow girls from the Middle East. It gives you ideas.”

On painful fashion choices: “It’s not about pain. It’s about the commitment. I say to myself, ‘I want to look like this,’ and worry about the pain later. I’ve had nights I had to tiptoe home and the balls of my feet wouldn’t even allow me to stand.”

On moving to New York full time: “I’ve downsized. I want a smaller closet. I want simpler. I want to just take it back to what’s important.”

Rihanna In Vintage Moschino – Giorgio Baldi Restaurant

Rihanna In Vintage Moschino - Giorgio Baldi Restaurant

Rihanna was spotted leaving Giorgio Baldi restaurant after having dinner with her friend Melissa in Santa Monica, California on Sunday (February 16).

Sporting a new banging bob, the singer donned a black ultra short romper with a dramatic 80s vintage Moschino coat purchased from vintage emporium Shrimpton Couture.

The velvet mixed coat featuring faux leopard print, panels of brocade and a panel of bead work may be a tad over the top for some, but I love this coat and would also wear it in a heartbeat.

Both the colors and the bold design instantly attract me to this piece.

Opting for a bold black cherry lip, she styled her look with thick gold Balmain cuffs, and metallic gold Louboutin ‘So Kate’ pumps.
