Rihanna Wore Bottega Veneta To The Presidential Inauguration Ceremony
Rihanna attended a Presidential Inauguration Ceremony held at Heroes Square on Tuesday (November 30) in Bridgetown, Barbados, where she was honoured as a National Hero.
To say this is well-deserved would be an understatement, as the beauty mogul has not only has been an official ambassador for culture and youth for her home country since 2018; she also remains the country’s most famous citizen.
Rihanna’s designation as a national hero of Barbados, coinciding with the country’s transition to an independent republic, couldn’t be more apt.
For the occasion Rihanna wore a Bottega Veneta tasseled satin halterneck dress from the Fall 2021 collection.
I adore the colour, the creases aren’t bothersome, but I’ll admit that my first thought was that this doesn’t quite live up to the occasion.
It almost feels too casual, but I also love that Rihanna was representing herself, as she would for any occasion.
My second thought was that it must have been a cold day in Barbados on Tuesday.Â
