Rihanna Sees In The New Year Poolside In Rick Owens & Dries van Noten

Rihanna travel home to the island of Barbados to celebrate the holidays with her family.

She shared a picture to her Instagram which she captioned, “new year’s resolution: apply the pressure.”

In terms of pressure, she was not here for her fans asking if she was dropping a new album in 2021. Clapping back at one she said, “this comment is sooo 2019. grow up.”

I guess that’s a no then.

The Fenty CEO seems to have bigger fish to fry with her fashion, makeup, beauty and accessories lines, and I’m sure she’ll drop something new on us before this year is out.

I was feeling the island vibes from her look which included a Rick Owens metallic bra paired with a Dries van Noten brocade maxi skirt.

With that sun-kissed glow, she was looking every inch a Bajans babe, but I’m a little thrown by the mullet.

This is not a great hairstyle for the singer. It’s a look I struggle with a the best of times.  Only Miley Cyrus has been able to successfully make it work in recent times.

You might be thinking, “why is she going so hard to promote those Amina Muaddi x AWGE embellished sandals?”

Well.  These sandals are part of a Capsule Collection which shoe designer Amina Muaddi, and rapper A$AP Rocky’s creative agency AWGE teamed up to create a truly one-of-a-kind collaboration.

Factor in the rumours that A$AP Rocky is her new beau, and this makes more sense.

Well it does to me, because a poolside look and high heels has always been a flat no in my book.
