Penelope Cruz In Stella McCartney – 2011 Cannes Film Festival “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides” Photocall

When I saw this picture of Penelope Cruz at the 2011 Cannes Film Festival “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides” Photocall, I realised that she has her Pre-baby figure back.

She looks amazing.

The Spanish actress wore a figure-hugging Stella McCartney velvet on bistretch cotton dress from the Fall 2011 collection with matching Casadei satin pumps with a pin heel.

Her navy dress has a velvet skirt with a contrasting bodice and a black back panel which was unexpected.

I think this is my favourite look so far from Pen this promo tour.

Let’s pray she knocks it out the fashion ball park for the Premiere later this evening.

Penelope Cruz In Givenchy Couture – “Pirates Of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides” London Premiere

Ahhh…redemption has never looked so sweet.

Just when I thought Penelope Cruz was in permanent mourning, she arrived on the blue carpet of the “Pirates Of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides” Premiere in London tonight wearing white.

Her angelic white Givenchy Couture Fall 2010 embroidered dress was just the tonic I needed to put her back in my good books.

I don’t know why she’s been hiding under those black LBDs because she has a wonderful figure. She’s back to her post-baby best.

I love the sleek straight locks and the fact that she didn’t add too many jewels.

A gold clutch completed her look.

Penelope Cruz In Emilio Pucci – “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides” Moscow Premiere

Penelope Cruz joined her co-star Johnny Depp for the “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides” Moscow Premiere yesterday.

Penelope wore a black Emilio Pucci Fall 2011 dress.

The first thing that springs to mind is; “Is it that cold in Russia?”

Why are celebs so intent in dressing out of season?

Whilst some Fall 2011 looks do work, this velvet embellished long sleeve dress feels so heavy for mid-May look.

I love Pen’s neutral make-up; but I can’t help moaning about the fact that she’s wearing black, again.

It’s going to be a very long and boring promo tour if Penelope doesn’t start mixing things up.

Penelope Cruz In Marchesa – “Pirates Of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides” World Premiere

Penelope Cruz looked stunning when she arrived on the red carpet for the World Premiere of “Pirates Of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides” in LA yesterday.

The Spanish actress wore a custom Marchesa off-the-shoulder gown.

The black gown was embroidered with feathers and jet crystal details.

Chopard jewels, a high ponytail and nude lips completed her look.

I love that she’s wasn’t afraid to go big and bold wearing this gown.

I just hope she explores other colours on the red carpet during this promo tour.

Penelope Cruz In Oscar de la Renta – 2011 Met Gala

I felt a huge sense of de ja vu when I saw Penelope Cruz on the red carpet at the 2011 Met Gala in New York City this evening.

I went back over my archives and realised why.

The black Oscar de la Renta Fall 2011 gown is very similar to the Armani Prive gown she wore to the 2011 Golden Globes.

Penelope’s black silk organza thin strap banded Oscar de la Renta gown with draped detail and mermaid hem was paired with Chopard jewels and a feathered clutch.

Penelope Cruz In L’Wren Scott – Hollywood Walk of Fame

Penelope Cruz is the first Spanish actress to receive the star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

For the momentous occasion she opted to wear a Fall 2011 L’Wren Scott lace sheath dress.

Her purple knee length dress with elbow length sleeves was accessorized with black Christian Louboutin peep-toe pumps and Chopard jewels.

Cruz is a big fan of L’Wren Scott.

You’ll remember she wore the designer to the 2011 Oscars for her big return to the red carpet.

L’Wren Scott isn’t Penelope’s stylist, you maybe surprised to learn. So her love for the designer is pure.

Penelope was accompanied to the event by family members and Johnny Depp, her co-star in “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides,” which opens in theaters May 20.
