Who Wore Stella McCartney Better

Imogen Poots was the first to don this sweet Stella McCartney LBD with a plunging neckline when she stepped onto the red carpet back in January for the ‘That Awkward Moment’ LA premiere.

Sporting her signature purposely curly updo, with piercing cat-eyes and Christian Louboutin patterned pumps, this was yet another playful look from the young actress.

Three months later Cameron Diaz wore the same dress to the LA premiere for ‘The Another Woman’.

Wearing black and Stella McCartney are no surprises when it comes to Cameron, but I was surprised by her choice of footwear, with the cuff stumpifying her enviable long legs, so Imogen wins for me.

Robin Wright In Haute Hippie - 'A Most Wanted Man' New York Premiere

Robin Wright attended the New York premiere for ‘A Most Wanted Man’ held at the Museum of Modern Art on Tuesday (July 22) in New York City.

Being the yin to Rachel McAdams yang, the ‘House of Cards’ actress opted for a laidback mannish approach, wearing a beige sleeveless top with Haute Hippie Fall 2014 tuxedo capone striped trousers paired with tan leather laceups.

While I am someone who tends to favour a more girlie approach to red carpet dressing – unless your name is Tilda Swinton – this look is very well executed. Strange as this may sound, it looks like she dressed herself.

Laura Carmichael In Erdem - ‘Downton Abbey’ Summer TCA Tour Photocall

Laura Carmichael joined her ‘Downton Abbey’ co-stars Michelle Dockery and Joanne Froggatt for the Los Angeles photocall held at The Beverly Hilton Hotel on Tuesday (July 22) in Beverly Hills, California.

Wearing a vivid red floral-embroidered sleeveless Erdem Pre-Fall 2014 dress with a solid black back panel, the actress interestingly styled the look with Rupert Sanderson ‘Elba’ pumps, when perhaps black would’ve been the most obvious choice.

Wavy tresses, kohl-rimmed eyes and a complementary glossy lip colour rounded out her look.

As always, just a touch of rouge lip colour rounded out her look.
