Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge In Catherine Walker – St. Patrick’s Day With The Irish Guards In London

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge was fully dressed in the colour of the day at the annual Irish Guards St. Patrick’s Day Parade on Friday (March 17) in London.

As we’d expect with a bespoke piece, her deep forest-green Catherine Walker coat fit her like a glove.

Additional sartorial beauty shone through with the coat dress’s dark contrast velvet collar and cuffs and military-inspired buttons, which she enlivened further with a shamrock pin and associated foliage.

Topping it off in final celebration to Ireland’s national colour, she tied the ensemble together with a matching green, sculptural hat for a look that didn’t skip a beat from her signature refined sophistication.

Angelina Jolie In Roland Mouret – Sergio Vieira de Mello Foundation Annual Lecture In Geneva

As the UN High Commissioner for Refugees special envoy, Angelina Jolie was in attendance at the annual lecture of the Sergio Vieira de Mello Foundation in Geneva on Wednesday (March 15).

Roland Mouret’s ‘Etty’ sheath dress, styled with Kurt Geiger ’Britton’ nude pumps, was an appropriately conservative yet still quite a compelling look for the occasion.

The designer’s signature sharp tailoring made for a beautiful frame at the neckline, with the rich dark-blue hue only enhancing her jet-black locks and blue-gray eyes.

Juliette Binoche In Haider Ackermann – ‘Ghost In The Shell’ Seoul Premiere

Juliette Binoche joined Scarlett Johansson for the premiere of ‘Ghost In The Shell’ on Thursday (March 17) in Seoul.

Here, her Haider Ackermann Spring 2017 look provided a striking juxtaposition of form between the tough, exacting edge of a shrunken leather jacket and the flowing fluidity of a long plisse skirt.

With a colour-block white panel added to the bright orange palette for a less leg-baring approach, it was graphically balanced by a black panel on the opposite side.

Her loose waves and naturally glowing makeup provided a graceful way to tone down the punk-forward edge with which the look was originally presented.

Scarlett Johansson In Azzedine Alaïa – ‘Ghost In The Shell’ Seoul Premiere

After the Tokyo press conference and premiere for ‘Ghost In The Shell,’ Scarlett Johansson was off to the Seoul premiere on Thursday (March 17).

Taking a break from the bolder hues we’ve seen her last few times out, she wore an Azzedine Alaïa Spring 2017 off-the-shoulder black gown.

Here, she did in fact keep the wide, sash-like belt intact, to define a waistline beneath the blouson top. Yet the more casual nature of the dress didn’t necessarily require the diamond necklace, as it competed with said belt beneath.

The look didn’t quite have the gravitas or presence I would prefer on the red carpet. What do you make of it?

Mandy Moore In Diane von Furstenberg – Alliance For Children’s Rights Event In LA

Mandy Moore attended the Alliance for Children’s Rights event on Thursday (March 16) in LA.

Again branching outside her more classic feminine style, she looked to the Diane von Furstenberg Pre-Fall 2017 collection although the label’s iconic wrap dress and prints were nowhere to be found here.

Instead, this dress prioritized texture and a freewheeling sense of colour in partnership with the ladylike sophistication of silhouette. Yet the translation of the yellow and  violet hues is precisely what will likely be most divisive about the ensemble.

No matter which way you slice it, though, the dark clutch was an odd choice.

However, Mandy was lovely with her cherry-red lip, effortless waves, and those long statement earrings.

Rebecca Ferguson In Emilia Wickstead – ‘Life’ Photocall In London

After Berlin, Rebecca Ferguson headed to London for the ‘Life’ photocall there on Thursday (March 16).

Offering us a true 180-degree shift in style, the actress took a far more formal approach in an Emilia Wickstead Fall 2017 textural lace-inspired dress.

With a high collar and long sleeves, plus a slick-back bun, the look had a severity of form. So I’m glad the flared skirt added a bit of unforced movement.

I think it’s safe to say many of us loved her fresh and fun pink suit in Berlin, so how does this look fare?

Lea Michele In Saloni – ‘The Ellen Degeneres Show’

Lea Michele made an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Thursday (March 16), where she chatted about her ‘bed series’ of sultry photos and writing breakup ballads for her new album, PLACES.

So it was only natural that a flirty and feminine look was the order of the day, and this Saloni Spring 2017 floral-print frock was the perfect pick.

The flowy dress featured a delightful, spring-like charm, especially when paired with her romantic waves and a bright-pink lip.

Of course, the effortless look was plenty versatile enough for a pillow fight, too, in Lea and Ellen’s own ‘bed series’ shot.
