Regular readers will know that I’m all about the drama.

The more dramatic the dress, the more I fall in love which is why I’m salivating over Rihanna’s Stéphane Rolland Spring 2009 Couture gown.

I expected Rihanna to walk red carpet wearing a Balmain Spring 2010 dress with cut-out details in the hips, so this was a very pleasant surprise.

The white Stéphane Rolland mermaid shaped gown had a pleated detail on the front which swirled around the bodice, before exploding all over the skirt.

This will be a love it or hate it dress. What say you?

Before I fell for Cate Blanchett, it was all about Catherine Zeta Jones. She was my first girl crush.

I had such admiration for her as she held her own on the red carpet amongst the Hollywood major players.

We haven’t seen much of her lately, but walking the red carpet at this event last night she proved that she hasn’t lost any of her sparkle.

CJZ looked outstanding wearing a navy blue Gustavo Cadile’s Resort 2010 lurex gown.

I loved cut, it flatters her so well. I also love how the gown shimmers.

Welcome back Mrs Jones-Douglas, we missed you.

From one ageless beauty to another.

Iman - as usual - looked OUT-Friggin-Standing.

It’s not easy to follow the gorgeous Karlie Kloss because she totally owns everything she wears on the runway.

But when you’re Iman, that doesn’t matter.

The uber model walked the red carpet wearing a pink Jason Wu Spring 2010 feathered confection that is totally delightful.

I love the neon green waistband and her matchy matchy runway platform heels.

She totally stands out as one of the best on this red carpet.

Never take a day of Iman….I BEG you.

Some of you have expressed your confusion as to why Kerry Washington receives so much praise for her red carpet choices.

Come on guys, looks at how amazing she looks wearing this Fendi Spring 2010 blush pink lace floor-length dress.

She looks simply elegant, the colour complements her skin-tone, she accessorized well with silver stunning jewels and a Christian Louboutin snake skin print clutch.

Her look is totally effortless.

What’s not to love?

The Stella McCartney Resort 2010 collection still proves to be the most worn collection by celebrities this year.

Liya Kebede, joins Stella McCartney and Jessica Simpson who have both worn this coat/dress.

It’s not just celebrities who have fallen for Stella’s Resort collection.

Glamour magazine’s Editor-in-Chief Cindi Leive walked the red carpet with SVP & Publishing Director Bill Wackermann wearing the same Resort 2010 dress we’ve seen on Frieda Pinto.

It was no surprise that Stella McCartney was honoured at this event.

The designer was of course wearing self designed pieces which all worked well together.

Stella tends to wear a lot of black, so this pop of colour is really refreshing.

Serena Williams is getting the hand of this red carpet thing as she is radiant at this event wearing a red asymmetrical Pamella Roland gown.

I think she has looked her best yet after her stunning Gucci look a few weeks ago.

Yes she looks muscular, but there’s nothing she can do about that.

I would love to say I have finally embraced Katharine McPhee’s platinum blonde ‘do, but I continue to struggle with it.

Hair aside, I totally in love with her BODYAMR peacock blue jersey gown.

The gown shows off her figure, whilst the black patent leather trim and open back shows off Katharine’s sexy side.

The singer/actress accessorized with a black leather Perrin Paris 1893 Riva Pochette oversize clutch.

Maria Shriver looked fab wearing a black lace strapless Monique Lhuillier gown.

Amy Poehler glittered in a gold Stella McCartney cocktail dress.

Kerry Washington’s Marchesa Spring 2010 gown with a flared hem and a white corsage detail is gorgeous, but I’m not quite getting the feeling that Kerry is owning it.

She looks a little lost in this gown, which is very unlike her.

It’s like she’s not feeling it at all.

Her look is paired with a Marchesa crocodile clutch which is also from the Spring 2010 collection.

Iman continues wow me time after time and this is no exception.

The supermodel wore a black sequined Thakoon Fall 2009 one-shouldered belted dress which is too spectacular for words.

I adore the draping and the tulle bow detail which sits on her shoulder.

Her sleek bob and smoky make-up complete this perfect look.

As beautiful as Halle Berry is this slashed black Kaufman Franco sequin dress, it looks too tight around her bust which really puts me off this look.

Paula Patton adds a touch of colour via her long sleeved fitted dress which she pairs with a deep red clutch and gladiator sandals.

Not something one would expect at a ball, but I do love this dress.

My biggest problem with Estelle’s look is that she looks so uncomfortable.

Between the tie and the shirt dress button up to the top, she looks so restricted.

After a very close fight with Victoria Beckham this weekend, Kerry Washington was finally picked as your Best Dressed this week.

You guys loved all of her looks this week from her white Calvin Klein dress, to her Malandrino blouse, to her Zuhair Murad Couture dress, so it was fitting that she be crowned Best Dressed.

I fell hard for Janet Jackson.

This is the first time I have featured her on this poll, and I strongly believe she has never looked better.

She has given up trying to have abs of steel and concentrated on letting her inner beauty shine through.

I loved how this Versace blue gown hugged her curves and gave her an amazing silhouette.

Girl Crush No.1 Sophia Bush attended an intimate dinner for designer Catherine Malandrino earlier this summer.

The actress wore a nude sleeveless Malandrino Spring 2009 top with a detail gold chain neckline, paired with black peep-toes and a pale nude clutch complete the chic look beautifully.

Girl Crush No.2 Kerry Washington attended an “Ovarian Cancer Research” benefit hosted by “InStyle Magazine” in New York recently wearing the same top.

She paired her top with a grey skirt, and matching grey accessories including a grey clutch and grey metallic shoes.

Sophia’s black skirt looks very chic, but seems so safe alongside Kerry’s daring grey look.

I would have never picked grey with nude, so for thinking outside the box Kerry wins this for me.

57th San Sebastian Film Festival Closing Ceremony

Kerry Washington knocks me out again for the second time today, as she looked stunning wearing a Zuhair Murad Fall 2009 Couture dress.

She wore her exquisite ivory and black printed silk puff sleeve dress with the silver metal runway belt, and black Christian Louboutin pigalle heels.

Naomi Watts wore a Stella McCartney Fall 2009 black jumpsuit, with a lace yoke, lace sleeves and lace inserts in the pants.

The pants aren’t as revealing as the runway look, which helps this look work for Naomi.

She thankfully didn’t stick to boring black accessories, adding a satin green clutch and fuschia pink heels.

“Mother and Child” Photocall

Completing a hat-trick of perfect looks, Kerry looked divine wearing a black and nude Malandrino Resort 2010 tulle draped blouse with a black pencil skirt, black patent belt and her pigalle’s.

Which look deserves to be in the running for BDOTW?

Naomi Watts packed very light for this trip to Spain, because she wore the same white blouse and Stella McCartney Resort 2010 black cropped jacket just 3 days earlier in New York for the White Ribbon Alliance Dinner.

At least she packed fresh pants and a new pair of heels.

Kerry Washington always looks classy, and this time is no different.

The beautiful actress wore a white Calvin Klein Resort 2010 slightly off-the-shoulder dress which was sheer in some places, and had a peplum at the waist.

Kerry accessorized her look with bronze heels and a matching clutch.

Rose Byrne also opted for a dress from the Resort 2010 collection.

Her breathtakingly beautiful nude Calvin Klein off-the-shoulder dress subtly hints a nudity, without exposing anything.

I love the gold accessories which add a lot of warmth to her look.

This girl is on a roll a the moment. Long may it continue.

I love the lilac colour of Molly Sims’ ensemble.

She wears a round neck fitted Calvin Klein top, with a textured skirt from the Fall 2009 collection.

My only problem are those clunky Calvin Klein heels. A sexy strappy silver sandal would have been preferred.

Thandie Newton = perfection in Calvin Klein.

Sara Paxton wasn’t my favourite at this event, but being a newcomer she’s doing well on the red carpet.

Her black and navy sweetheart necklined dress was paired with black pumps.

I’m excited to see what else is to come from Sara.

A lot of people thought that Jason Wu’s Fall 2009 collection was aimed at a mature customer after dressing Michelle Obama.

For Wu’s Spring 2010 collection he reverted back to more youthful girlie girl looks, which cover everything from cute dresses, to tweed pant suits.

There were no gowns, but cute cocktail dresses, knitwear, outwear, and daywear were presented.

I loved the classic cinched in waists, the feather pieces which added elegance, the youthful shorter hemlines and the vast array of bright colours, punchy patterns, and interesting textures.

This collection was edgier and sexier than past seasons. I expect to see many of the pieces on the red carpet.

The colour palette included sunflower yellow, pretty pinks and hot metallic.

Kerry Washington was in the front row looking so cute wearing a strapless dress with a tulip skirt and orange bodice from Jason Wu’s Resort 2010 collection.

Amanda Peet opted for a nude tiered Fall 2009 dress which she paired with tights and two tone heels.
