Kerry Washington Wore Brandon Maxwell On Late Night with Seth Meyers
Kerry Washington made a guest appearance on Late Night With Seth Meyers this week, where she spoke about starring in the upcoming revival of The Whoopi Monologues.

The actress wore a Brandon Maxwell Fall 2026 dress and, if you’re anything like me, your first thought might have been that Christmas had arrived early in the middle of a global heatwave.
And I’m not talking about the black jersey gown itself. I’m talking about the green tinsel-like embellishments circling the neckline and sleeve cuffs, which immediately gave me festive-season flashbacks.
Then again, Kerry has never been one to always dress according to the calendar. She’ll happily wear a breezy Erdem dress in October or leather in the height of summer, so this isn’t entirely out of character. In fairness, she’s far from the only celebrity who ignores seasonal dressing rules.

Despite my Christmas association, I have to admit that she wears this look well. The clean column silhouette makes her appear taller than she is, and the embellishments stop the dress from feeling too straightforward.
Casadei Flora platforms completed her look.
