Hayley Atwell In Jenny Packham – British Independent Film Awards 2017

Hayley Atwell attended the British Independent Film Awards on Sunday (December 10) on Old Billingsgate in London.

As a bridal gown, this Jenny Packham dress works.

As a red carpet gown, I have to say it’s possibly one my least favourite looks of the night.

Dated is a word that is used often, but it very much applies in this case.

Factor in the out-of-place black clutch and this look is only gorgeous from the neck up.

Hayley Atwell In Christian Dior – Harper’s Bazaar Women Of The Year Awards 2017

Hayley Atwell joined Jodie Foster at the Harper’s Bazaar Women Of The Year Awards on Thursday (November 2) in London.

Offering up a pretty-in-coral-pink mood, she wore a Christian Dior Resort 2018 frock that had an air of fanciful femininity.

By now, the embroidered Dior straps are nothing new, but I know many will be relieved that the look came without a sighting of the similarly branded knickers.

Balancing out the whimsicality of the feathery motif with an air of sophistication, she styled the look with a Dior clutch, black Manolo Blahnik pumps to echo the ribbon belt, and Stephen Webster jewels.

Hayley Atwell In Suzanne Neville – 61st BFI London Film Festival Awards

Hayley Atwell made a return to the red carpet for the 61st BFI London Film Festival Awards on Saturday (October 14), and there was no chance of missing her.

She may have been wearing a Suzanne Neville gown, but the exploded keyhole, halter-neck dress was merely used as a celebration of the girls.

There is something to be said for slightly subtler exposure when it comes to timeless sophistication value.

Aside from that, the gown could have used a slight modification in hemline. But, I have to say I also wasn’t in love with the appearance of the fabric sheen, either.

On the other hand, her shorter, wavy locks and au naturel makeup offered a fresher perspective than the rest of the look.

The look was styled with De Beers jewels.

Hayley Atwell In Miu Miu – ‘Hamlet’ Press Night

Hayley Atwell dressed for the theater, attending a press night for the ‘Hamlet’ play in London on Thursday (June 15).

A nostalgic tone was alive and well in her Miu Miu Pre-Fall 2017 brooch-embellished dress that strongly veered into mid-20th-century vintage territory.

The grassy green hue was vibrant on Hayley. However, I did get stuck at the clunky, golden platform shoes.

Sure, they added the typical funky spunk of a Miu Miu look, but I can imagine how well the retro frock would have been matched to a simpler sandal or pump.

Hayley Atwell In Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini – Three Empire Awards

Hayley Atwell also attended the Three Empire Awards on Sunday (March 19) in London, joining Joanne Froggatt, Laura Carmichael, Ella Purnell and Anya Taylor-Joy.

With some going short and some going long for the event, the actress split the difference in a high-low gown by Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini.

While the black lace made for a sultrier effect, she added a playful tone with her baubles and accessories including large pearl earrings, a colourful embellished clutch and red heels.

With red lip and red nails, too, I do think the romance of the look would have been elevated with sleeker, more streamlined styling.

Hayley Atwell In Mulberry & Michael Van der Ham – Comic-Con 2014 & Entertainment Weekly’s Annual Comic-Con Celebration

Hayley Atwell In Mulberry & Michael Van der Ham - Comic-Con 2014 & Entertainment Weekly’s Annual Comic-Con Celebration

British actress Hayley Atwell was at Comic-Con International 2014 this weekend in San Diego, California to promote ‘Marvel’s Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ and ‘Marvel’s Agent Carter’.

Press Line: Hayley’s first look was a simple black Mulberry Resort 2015 crepe dress with intriguing accessories which included her Lulu Guinness ‘Chloe’ clutch with a lipstick as the clasp, tri-colour snakeskin Christian Louboutin ‘Viveka’ sandals, plus a selection of jewels from Naviya London.

Entertainment Weekly’s Annual Comic-Con Celebration: Next up was my favourite look, a patchwork top and skirt from the king of fabric collage, Michael Van der Ham. This Spring 2014 yellow, grey and black look features a floral-jacquard top with black textured-devoré inserts and a flirty A-line skirt. While her Jimmy Choo black and gold pumps and Naviya London jewels were subtle additions to the look, I love the Nathalie Trad ‘Dysdera’ mother of pearl clutch which both stands out and complements the look without overwhelming the outfit.
