Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Emma Stone was among those I was most excited to see arrive at the 2012 Met Gala in New York City on Monday evening.

Unfortunately, I was in for a bit of a letdown.

Wearing one of the evening’s rare short dresses, Emma arrived in a custom-made Lanvin creation by Alber Elbaz.

While the bright red satin dress with hand embroidered crystal flowers is undeniably gorgeous, it feels too cutesy on Emma – especially at the Met Gala. This is more of an Elle Fanning look don’t you think?

Emma opted for a ‘90’s updo which was held together with custom-made Lanvin crystal hair pins.

Black pumps, which I dislike, complete the look.

Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield continue their promo tour for ‘The Amazing Spider-Man’ during the Summer of Sony 4 Spring Edition in Cancun, Mexico, on Monday.

Unlike Kerry Washington, Emma opted for a more summery look by wearing a Dolce & Gabbana white ensemble.

She kept her look simple wearing a white short-sleeve top with an embellished collar paired with a matching button-down skirt.

I have to say I find the look very blah. It’s like she’s about to take centre court at a Wimbledon women’s final in the 1940s.

I’m starting to worry that Emma is losing her fizz. Even her hair looks a bit limp here, or maybe I’m just missing her as a red head.

The only thing that grabs my attention is her colourful Brian Atwood ‘Angela’ criss-cross and peep-toe platform sandals and that rich red lip colour.

Emma Stone made a guest appearance on ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’ which airs today in the US.

The ‘Amazing Spiderman’ actress was there to promote her new movie, and whilst on the show Ellen asked her who was the better kisser: Andrew Garfield or Ryan Gosling…awkward.

Emma, who’s back to being blonde for the promo tour, wore a J. Mendel Fall 2012 dress.

Her metallic tweed sleeveless dress with leather trims may not be the summery dress we would’ve expected, but it’s a cute look for Emma.

With the promo tour for the Spiderman movie starting now, lets pray that Emma lives up to our high expectations on the red carpet.

Fingers crossed.

Emma Stone attended the 2012 Nickelodeon Annual Kids’ Choice Awards yesterday afternoon with rumoured boyfriend, Andrew Garfield.

Back to sporting blonde locks, before the promo tour for ‘Spiderman’ no doubt, the actress posed on the orange carpet wearing an Antonio Berardi Fall 2012 ensemble.

The blush ultra-feminine look consisted of a sleeveless two-tone top with a zig-zag seam below the bust, paired with a lightweight full pleated wool skirt with a layered construction and a scalloped hem.

Nude Alejandro Ingelmo ‘Gilda’ wedges and Irene Neuwirth jewels provided the finishing touches.

I adore everything about this chic look, from the colour to the construction to her effortless styling.

Sporting a lighter-coloured strawberry blonde do, Emma Stone appeared on a panel for her new movie, ‘The Amazing Spider-Man’, at WonderCon 2012 on Saturday in Anaheim, California.

The actress, who had an impressive run during awards season, opted for chic separates on this occasion.

Her Todd Lynn jacket features sharp cuts and precision tailoring which we expect from the British designer.

The jacket really pulls the look, which basically consists of a simple grey tee and J Brand jeans, together.

Jimmy Choo ‘Quiet’ peep-toes complete the look.

Todd Lynn is having a bit of a resurgence on the red carpet, as his pieces have recently been worn by Jordana Brewster and Nicole Richie.

Emma Stone was definitely the one we were all looking out for on the red carpet during awards season.

She started off wearing a Gucci suit and ended in Chanel Couture.

My favourite was her Lanvin gown at the Golden Globes, followed by the McQueen at the SAGs.
