2015 AFI Awards Red Carpet Roundup

2015 AFI Awards Red Carpet Roundup

Here is a roundup of the 2015 AFI Awards held at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills, California on Friday (January 9), which was also attended by Keira Knightley and Jessica Chastain.

Anne Hathaway: Opting for a crisp, clean look, the ‘Interstellar’ actress wore a Protagonist white sheath dress styled with Tamara Mellon ‘Frontline’ nude sandals with Eva Fehren jewels.

Elisabeth Moss: I do love how Elisabeth’s summery outlook served up via this pretty Stella McCartney Spring 2015 v-neck flared dress; however, I can’t get on board with the accessories.

Kiernan Shipka: The teen actress was worked clashing prints selecting a fit-and -flare design from Peter Pilotto’s Spring 2015 collection. Keeping the styling simple with barely there makeup and black strappy sandals ensured the focus was on the frock.

Get The Look: Elisabeth Moss’ The PEOPLE Magazine Awards Makeup

unnamedCelebrity makeup artist Tamah worked with Elisabeth Moss for the PEOPLE Magazine Awards on Thursday (December 18).

“Our inspiration was a modern-day Marilyn Monroe. Who better, ever?!” said Tamah.

Here’s how to get the look.

On Elisabeth’s eyes Tamah used Benefit Cream Color in Flatter Me. She then applied it with a fluffy brush for a really soft look. Over that she layered some short and medium knot-free Ardell Individual Lashes. At her lash line she blended Bobbi Brown Gel Liner in Black and layered MAC Costa Riche Eyeliner over that with a pencil brush for a super-soft smudgy look. She then layered a bit of Costa Riche under her bottom lashes as well for definition.

Tamah filled in Elisabeth’s natural brow shape with Anastasia Brow Wiz in Caramel.

On the skin she used Koh Gen Do Aqua Foundation in 002 and spot concealed with Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage in 02 and 03.

On the cheeks she used MAC Cream Color in Something Special and topped that off with Topshop Bronzer in Sandcastle.

Tamah finished her look with a lick of NYX Butter Lipstick in Big Cherry and a light dusting of Laura Mercier Translucent Powder.

Elisabeth Moss In David Koma – The PEOPLE Magazine Awards

Elisabeth Moss In David Koma - The PEOPLE Magazine Awards

Elisabeth Moss attended the PEOPLE Magazine Awards held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Thursday (December 18) in Beverly Hills, California.

The actress wore a David Koma Spring 2015 LBD spliced with sheer asymmetrical panels, which she styled with pops of red via her Jimmy Choo ‘Candy’ clutch and Kurt Geiger pumps.

Although the longer blue runway version would’ve been my personal choice, the shorter black version is a perfect fit for Elisabeth, plus the styling really brings the look to life.

Elisabeth Moss In Antonio Berardi – Gotham Magazine September Cover Party

Elisabeth Moss In Antonio Berardi - Gotham Magazine September Cover Party

Elisabeth Moss celebrated her September cover of ‘Gotham’ magazine at a party hosted in her honour at Sanctuary Hotel’s Tender Restaurant in New York City on Monday (September 8).

The ‘Mad Men’ actress selected an Antonio Berardi Resort 2015 ensemble consisting of a structured, black boat-neck top and an architectural, shiny gunmetal skirt.

I wasn’t crazy about the poufy play on volume here, but more than anything, the lookbook’s bold crimson shoes had me wishing for a bolder, more vibrant pair aside from her Bionda Castana ‘Beatrix’ heels.

For the pop of colour, we’ll have to settle for the teal clutch and coral-red lip, with Jennifer Fisher Jewelry providing the finishing sparkle.

Elisabeth Moss In Chloé – ‘The One I Love’ LA Premiere

Elisabeth Moss In Chloé - 'The One I Love' LA Premiere

Elisabeth Moss’s busy week ended with the LA premiere of her latest movie, ‘The One I Love’, held at the Vista Theatre on Thursday (August 7) in Los Angeles, California.

Just when I thought she’d peaked earlier in the week, she came back with this simply breathtaking look by Chloe.

The mint-green gathered dress with delicate straps couldn’t be a more perfect look for a balmy summer’s evening.

Styled with gold Jimmy Choo accessories including a metallic ‘Tube’ clutch and romantic lace ‘Toga’ toecap pumps, she also added two gold Jennifer Meyer necklaces.

Hair and makeup-wise, she was also on point, with copper-tone eyes and nude lips complementing her new honey-coloured tresses.

This look comes second after her Michael Kors SAG Awards look in her Red Carpet Hall of Fame. J’Adore.

Elisabeth Moss In Carven, McQ Alexander McQueen & David Koma – ‘The One I Love’ New York Promo Tour

Elisabeth Moss In Carven, McQ Alexander McQueen & David Koma - 'The One I Love' New York Promo Tour

The last two days have been busy ones for Elisabeth Moss, who has been in New York City promoting her new movie, ‘The One I Love’.

‘Watch What Happens Live': On Tuesday she wore a Carven Pre-Fall 2014 dress in a rich red hue designed for a structured cut with short sleeves and an A-line skirt. She accessorised her girlie frock with attitude, opting for white python Rupert Sanderson ‘Yves’ pumps.

Monday’s Screening: Later on that evening she attended the screening, opting for a coral pair of Stuart Weitzman pumps which matched the vibrancy of her floral-print body-con McQ Alexander McQueen dress. Letting her honey-coloured hair down on this occasion, she completed the look with a red pout.

Tuesday’s Screening: For the second screening, which appeared to be a more dressy affair, the actress wore a David Koma black and blue halter dress in yet another body-con silhouette, styled with a black cuff and black Casadei pumps.

I really love the David Koma dress of the three for being uber-sexy and modern.
