Dita von Teese In Ulyana Sergeenko Couture – 2015 amfAR Cinema Against AIDS Gala

Dita von Teese In Ulyana Sergeenko Couture - 2015 amfAR Cinema Against AIDS Gala

Dita von Teese attended amfAR’s 22nd Cinema Against AIDS Gala at Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc on Thursday (May 21) in Cap d’Antibes, France.

The burlesque star wore an Ulyana Sergeenko Spring 2015 Couture layered bell-shaped dress adorned with beautiful embroidered details.

This is a huge leap outside her comfort zone, so I would’ve loved for Dita to have switched up the styling on this occasion, with the hair being worn up for a start.

I have a feeling this might not go down so well, but my issue is the decision to wear the ankle-strap shoes with that skirt length, and of course the necklace paired with such a decorative piece.

Charlotte Olympia Dinner

Charlotte Olympia Dinner

Charlotte Olympia Dellal and Liz Goldwyn co-hosted an intimate dinner at The Sunset Tower Hotel on Tuesday (May 12) in West Hollywood, California, where the accessories were definitely the life of the party.

Charlotte Olympia: The designer and host stood out for all the right reasons in a bright and summery Dolce & Gabbana floral-print frock worn with a pink sweater, Charlotte Olympia ‘Pomeline’ pom-pom sandals, and a Charlotte Olympia ‘Shocking Vanina’ red clutch. The feminine and flirty retro flair of her look was made complete with pin curls and red lip.

Elle Fanning: In light of Charlotte’s radiant ensemble, I was rather indifferent to Elle’s navy Ralph Lauren collared dress. While the Charlotte Olympia ‘Head To Toe’ gold sandals and Charlotte Olympia ‘Anette’ clutch, not to mention the red mani-pedi, attempted to bring more youthful zing to the look, the starlet could have easily had more fun.

Dita von Teese: Dita was the epitome of Dita here in a signature sexy hourglass silhouette, this one a more casual rendition with a white plunge blouse and high-waist black pants. I love that she injected some kitschy spirit into the sophisticated sizzle of the look with Charlotte Olympia ‘Desert Night Meredith’ wedges and Charlotte Olympia ‘Cactus’ clutch. Naturally, the red lip made an appearance, too.

Dita Von Teese In Alexis Mabille Couture – Sidaction Gala Dinner 2015

Dita Von Teese In Alexis Mabille Couture - Sidaction Gala Dinner 2015

Dita Von Teese attended the Sidaction Gala Dinner 2015 held at the Pavillon d’Armenonville on Thursday (January 29) in Paris, France.

The burlesque star blew me away wearing the first look from the Spring 2015 Couture collection, donning a gown created by Alexis Mabille.

J’adore everything about this look. First, it was quite clearly made for Dita – the corseted satin bodice is the biggest indicator of that fact.

The colour is hypnotic and radiant against her milky complexion, plus I love the way this gown alludes to an undone moment, once again perfect for Dita, who performs in a state of undress.

Matching her feather-accented clutch to her dress, the look was styled, as per, with retro waves and a red pout.

Front Row @ Jean Paul Gaultier Spring 2015 Couture

Celebrities attended the Jean Paul Gaultier show held during Paris Fashion Week Haute Couture Spring 2015 on Wednesday (January 28) in Paris, France.

Dita Von Teese: Attending her second show of the day, the burlesque star wore a more theatrical look from the French designer, which incorporated her love for long leather opera gloves.

Conchita Wurst: Alongside Dita, the singer was probably the best dressed in the house, looking very chic working a JPG look with subtle details that make this a distinctive stand-out look.

Rose McGowan: Serving up a mix of punk and goth, while this look is interesting I don’t think it’s particularly flattering, especially the top half.

Front Row @ Elie Saab Spring 2015 Couture

Elie Saab

Elie Saab showcased his Spring 2015 Couture collection in Paris, France, on Wednesday (January 28) with a front row full of celebrities.

Nieves Alvarez: Having walked for Stephane Rolland the day before, the model was off duty, no doubt eyeing up options for the Goya Awards (the Spanish Oscars), which takes place on February 7. She kept her look simple wearing a black Elie Saab jumpsuit spliced with lace panels, which she styled with a gold clutch.

Eugenia Silva: Looking like the odd woman out, the model was the only celeb not to opt for black, standing out by selecting a heavenly minty-green look from Elie Saab’s Resort 2015 collection.

Elie Saab 2

Dita Von Teese: The burlesque star was smouldering in the front row wearing an LBD with sultry lace panels, which was oh-so-very Dita, with signature styling to boot.

Clotilde Courau: No stranger to wearing Elie Saab, the French beauty wore a black Elie Saab Fall 2014 Couture frock in a familiar silhouette with oversized beaded detailing. If you are having a mild case of déjà vu, that may be because Julia Roberts’s Emmy dress had the same embellishments.

Even I have to admit that I prefer the all-black looks here. They are so chic and elegant, as an Elie Saab woman should be. Eugenia, while she looked lovely, dressed for the wrong season.
