Dita Von Teese In Vintage John Galliano – Rimowa x Alexandre Arnault Pop-Up Event

Dita Von Teese went back to the archives for the Rimowa x Alexandre Arnault Pop-Up Event on Tuesday (December 12) in LA.

Not only was she wearing a vintage John Galliano Spring 1995 micro-check design, it happens to be a look she’s worn before.

But when the classic elegance is this high, can we really fault her?

Personally, I couldn’t have been happier about it.

The dress oozed with just as much sultry-sophisticated allure the second time out. I love how the cascading detail at the hip just portrays so much sweeping movement.

As before, she finished off the look with more drama in the opera gloves.

I love the look, but I am a little confused: why is this called vintage if its barely 20+ years old?:)

This dress is too chic to be worn once and discarded. I’m glad it’s getting another outing. Dita looks fantastic in it. I’m not so fan of the accessories but it goes with her style

She wears these kind of gorgeous dramatic ladylike fashion so very perfectly.
On so many/most other women I would say try-hard or costumey but on her it looks so authentic every time.

Galliano is a master designer. This is positively absolutely stunning. Remember all those amazing Dior dresses he designed?

I can see why she’s brought this dress out to play again. It celebrates her curves in exactly the right way.

This dress was made for her, I was going to say it feels like deja vu on her but now I know why, such a stellar look why only wear it once?!

That dress *swoons*. Love it, the pose, the gloves, the veil. Not quite sure what else is on top of her head, though. Is that the hat that goes with the veil? I’ll just ignore it.

Or is it her hair? Dress is gorgeous.

If the furry piece on her forehead and the tilted one on the back with the pompom are her actual hair, I don’t want to know.
