Diane Von Furstenberg's Journey Of A Dress Exhibition 1The opening-party premiere of Diane Von Furstenberg’s ‘Journey of a Dress’ exhibition brought out a constellation of fashionable femmes (and fans) to preview the show at the Wilshire May Company Building in Los Angeles, California on Friday (January 10). Naturally, all the girls had on the best DVF designs.

Gwyneth Paltrow: Putting some sizzle into her strut, the actress vamped it up just a bit in a wrap jumpsuit, accented with a satin ribbon tie at the side. I found myself liking this sexy and streamlined approach from Gwynnie, especially with that magenta-pink lip. Yes, the plunge neckline is significant, but she’s perhaps one of the few that can make it work to her advantage.

Allison Williams: Looking as classically chic as ever, the ‘Girls’ starlet was oh-so-mod in a monochromatic ‘Amelia’ wrap dress with a flirty, graphic-patterned twirl skirt, from the Spring 2014 collection. She put a twist on the still-trending white pump with her Jimmy Choo ‘Madien’ pumps that were accented with a black ankle-strap and heel. Raising the girly look to a vintage-glam level, she styled her hair into a retro faux bob and painted on a deep-red lip.

Rooney Mara: The actress stayed in her black comfort zone in an asymmetrical dress topped off with a black satin ribbon. A tightly swept-back ‘do and oxblood lip added a more severe note to the loose frock—so, too, did the strange, one-shoulder jacket sleeve.

Many more stars sashayed into the it-list lineup at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts Inaugural Gala, hosted on Thursday at the Wallis Annenberg Center in Beverly Hills, California, all donning the designer of the evening, Salvatore Ferragamo.

Camilla Belle: The actress complemented her bronzed glow with a plunging, tiered gown with a crisscross back in an arresting shade of blush-nude. Diamond jewels, a golden clutch and a severely slicked-back ‘do completed her ensemble.

Abbie Cornish: Opting for a glam, cerulean-blue dress, accented with a jewel brooch at the halter neckline and a studded belt, the Aussie star kept her accessories on the simple side with a basic box clutch, a dainty earring, and sideswept retro waves.

Freida Pinto: Also working a blushing nude hue, Freida glittered in her embellished halter confection. To highlight the T-back detail of the dress, she piled her dark locks into an updo and kept her jewels to a minimum. After all, the dress had enough dazzle.

Demi Moore In Valentino - Target Presents AFI's Night At The Movies

Demi Moore attended the Target Presents AFI’s Night at the Movies, held at the ArcLight Cinemas in Hollywood, California on Wednesday evening.

The actress wore a Valentino jumpsuit from the Spring 2013 collection.

Her sheer georgette Valentino jumpsuit features a button-down blouse bodice, high-waisted pants with a relaxed leg, plus a contrasting white collar and cuffs. Taking inspiration from the runway, Demi styled the jumpsuit with a black lace camisole.

I have to say, this has to be one of the most unflattering looks of all time.

As gorgeous as Demi is, this look does nothing for her except make her look wider than she really is.

Our complaint to some actresses is that they should go up a size, but Demi needed to go down a size. The look is much chicer and more streamlined on the runway, so Demi’s decision to supersize her look baffles me.

Brian Atwood ‘Aida’ sandals, a black Roger Vivier clutch and Sorellina ‘Victoria Serpente’ spiral earrings completed her look.

Demi Moore joined Ariel Foxman (Editor of InStyle) and actress/photographer Amanda de Cadenet at a private residence in Beverly Hills for InStyle’s celebration and the launch of ‘The Conversation with Amanda De Cadenet’.

It’s so good to see Demi back on the red carpet.

The actress picked up where she left off wearing her favourite colour, black.

Her Lanvin Spring 2012 look consisted of a black sleeveless tuxedo jacket with padded shoulders worn with a cream silk top and black silk pants.

A crystal eagle necklace, a pearl-and-gold chain cross necklace and a gold chain belt all by Lanvin completed her look.

Amanda’s look was in total contrast to Demi’s masculine look.

She wore a Spring 2012 Roland Mouret ‘Herbert’ crepe wool and a blister plisse cream-and-white dress with black detailing which we’ve seen on Amy Adams.

I wish Amanda had opted for a daintier shoe. Instead she opted for the Christian Louboutin ‘Madame Butterfly’ booties.

Wavy tresses and red lippie completed her look.

Demi Moore opted for colour on the red carpet for the ‘Margin Cell’ New York premiere.

The actress, who has a preference for wearing only black, chose this red Zac Posen dress.

Her red leopard taffeta dress with shoulder pads was, of course, paired with black Brian Atwood pumps – no change there.

The black velvet ‘Kasha’ pumps have a studded detail along the heel to provide an interesting twist.

Forevermark diamond jewelry, a black clutch and trademark sleek, straight locks completed her look.
