Zendaya Coleman In Viktor & Rolf Couture – Out In Paris

Following her appearance at the Ralph & Russo Fall 2017 Couture show, Zendaya Coleman completely changed her style colours—as she is wont to do—and was seen out and about on Paris the next day, Tuesday (July 4).

Looking to the Viktor & Rolf Fall 2016 Couture collection, she transformed what could be called an overcooked runway look to an unequivocally well-done style statement.

There will be no denying I didn’t love the original version of this look and its fashion-y yet folksy vagabond aesthetic.

But, this was a rags-to-riches story as Zendaya wore the deer-printed sweater dress and its explosion of fabric scraps and undulating tulle with such ease.

And, what better to replace the Charles Dickens-inspired top hat than a sculptural, mod top knot.

Cara Delevingne In Balmain – George V Hotel

Cara Delevingne has been an eternally cool fixture at a number of Haute Couture Paris Fashion Week shows and fetes recently.

On Wednesday (July 5), she parlayed her statement style to the street, while stepping out from the George V Hotel in Paris, France.

I love how she pared back this Balmain Pre-Fall 2017 look to incorporate the fringe, tweed skirt with a printed T-shirt, making it a bit more summer-forward.

The over-the-knee boots didn’t exactly continue that vibe, but they checked the box on Cara’s edgy aesthetic.

Rocking Privé Revaux ‘The Celebrity’ shades, she completed the look in top form for an off-duty ensemble that was totally on point.

Emily Ratajkowski In FRAME – Chiltern Firehouse

Velvet continues to be one of summers biggest – and most head scratching – trend.

Just recently Kirsten Dunst took to the red carpet in black velvet Dior, and here we have Emily Ratajkowski.

The model was spotted out in London this week wearing a FRAME Le Velvet mod blazer and Le Velvet trousers in dark green hue, which she naturally paired with a crop top to showcase those abs.

What immediately struck me about this look it that immediately feels lighter and better fitted than the first time we saw it on Diane Kruger.

Impeccable styling is what really saves this look on this occasion.

Gigi Hadid In Levis & Re/Done – Out In New York City

While sister Bella Hadid takes Paris, Gigi Hadid has been holding court in New York City, where she was spotted in signature, street-style form on Thursday (June 29).

Taking classic Americana—and the Canadian tuxedo—to brave new territory, she wore a Levi’s jacket that managed to be both shrunken and oversized at the same time.

The denim-centric ensemble continued with her Re/Done distressed jeans. And, despite the high waist, her red crop top still managed to deliver a flash of abs which has been a defining characteristic of many of her off-duty looks of late.

A mini Stalvey bag along with the favoured Stuart Weitzman ‘Clingy’ boots—this time in bold red to match that midriff top—completed the statement-making look that was a study in contrasting proportions. But, did these opposites attract here?

Bella Hadid In Marcelo Burlon County of Milan & Topshop out in Paris

Paris has not changed Bella Hadid’s street-style M.O., as she has continued to favour looks that walk the line between sporty and funky—of course, always with a nod towards her distinct brand of off-duty sexiness.

Sunday (July 2): Taking menswear plaid and turning it on its head, Bella put her own mark on this Marcelo Burlon County of Milan Fall 2017 blue denim, long-sleeve shirt and matching cropped high-rise pants by styling it with a shrunken, midriff tee—out of which her black bra conveniently peeked. The slit detailing on the shirt’s arms almost created the illusion of a cape effect for a slightly dramatic edge, dressed up more with her Dior bag and mule heels.

Monday (July 3): Plaid also took top billing here, as she tied up her yellow-and-white patterned shirt and paired it with a lace-up Topshop denim skirt for a distinctly western-inspired, Parisian cowgirl mood—with a mod flair, of course, given the Stuart Weitzman white booties and Roberi & Fraud retro-influenced white sunglasses.

Are you mad for her Parisian plaid?
