Olga Kurylenko In Alessandra Rich - 'The Water Diviner' Dubai Film Festival Premiere

Olga Kurylenko attended the premiere of ‘The Water Diviner’ during day two of the 11th Annual Dubai International Film Festival held at the Madinat Jumeirah Complex on Thursday (December 11) in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

The actress wore an Alessandra Rich Spring 2015 pretty cream lace dress with a trompe l’oeil design accented with an ivory belt.

While the belt adds a bit of 80s charm to the look, I would’ve preferred this look without it.

Nice, yet not on par with her previous two looks.

What do you think?

Reese Witherspoon In Balenciaga - ‘Inherent Vice’ LA Premiere

Reese Witherspoon attended the ‘Inherent Vice’ premiere held at the TCL Chinese Theatre on Wednesday (December 10) in Hollywood, California.

The actress channelled a sweet 60s look, wearing a sleeveless pink shift Balenciaga dress styled with nude pumps.

This dress is the ultimate in easy-chic dressing as it’s just oozing polished panache.

I love the complementary pink lip colour, which rounds out this pretty pink but none-too-sugary look.

Menswear Red Carpet Roundup

Menswear Red Carpet Roundup

Here is a quick look at three very dashing gents who took to the red carpet on Wednesday evening (December 10).

Josh Brolin: Joining a cast of lovely ladies on the red carpet for the ‘Inherent Vice’ LA premiere, the actor didn’t look too shabby himself, suiting up in an Ermenegildo Zegna head-to-toe look in a glorious blue hue.

James Marsden: The only man of note to take to the red carpet at the Valentino New York Sala Bianca 945 event was James Marsden. Decked out in a lush maroon slim-fit suit, the precisely tailored look was sharp with plenty of classic appeal.

David Beckham: Mr Debonair served up a classic tux while attending The Sun Military Awards: A Night Of Heroes. What a lucky so-and-so Mrs Beckham is.

Jena Malone attended the ‘Inherent Vice’ premiere held at the TCL Chinese Theatre on Wednesday (December 10) in Hollywood, California.

The actress looked divine wearing an uber-chic Ulyana Sergeenko Demi Couture look consisting of a plunging white blouse and paper-bag-grey skirt.

I love the more mature feel of this look, which showcases her wide-ranging style, and while I’m glad she didn’t opt for grey or black pumps, however, I do wish her pink Charlotte Olympia ‘Paloma’ pumps didn’t come with such a heavy platform.

When it comes to her hair and makeup, I’m left in awe at how flawless they are.

Katherine Waterston In Christian Dior – ‘Inherent Vice’ LA Premiere

Katherine Waterston attended the premiere of Warner Bros. Pictures’ ‘Inherent Vice’ held at the TCL Chinese Theatre on Wednesday (December 10) in Hollywood, California.

On paper I shouldn’t be a fan of Katherine’s black-all-the-time minimalist style, yet once again I find myself totally captivated by her look.

The actress wore a black cold-shoulder Dior Fall 2014 satin and crepe flared dress styled with nothing but black Brian Atwood ‘Melly’ strappy sandals, a simple ponytail and a deep red lip colour.

Her style in part is much like Rooney Mara’s, yet Katherine appears to have much more confidence on the red carpet.

Menswear Roundup

Menswear Midweek Roundup 10 dec

Here is a quick roundup of a few fine gentlemen who took to the red carpet on Tuesday night (December 9).

Orlando Bloom: Joining Evangeline Lilly on the red carpet for the LA premiere of ‘The Hobbit: The Battle Of The Five Armies’, the actor went for a smart-casual Dior Homme navy wool two-button notch-lapel suit styled with a red cotton, small collar, graphic jacquard print shirt and smart sneakers. Was the look too casual?

Eddie Redmayne: Eddie joined Felicity Jones on the red carpet for the London premiere of ‘The Theory Of Everything’. Decked out in a very smart Hardy Amies plaid suit, the actor, as always, goes above and beyond when it comes to red carpet dressing. He has worn many a great suit on the red carpet, but this one is for his hall of fame.

Richard Armitage: Also taking to the red carpet for the ‘Hobbit’ premiere, the actor opted to revamp his classic style with a double-breasted, peaked-lapel plaid blazer. This marvellous piece was paired with dark grey trousers, not opting to go all the way like Eddie. Should he have, or do you like Richard’s take on modern suiting?
