Rihanna In Adam Selman – ‘Home’ New York Photocall

Rihanna In Adam Selman - 'Home' New York Photocall

Following her all pink look on Friday, Rihanna continued to promote her new animated feature ‘Home’ with a photocall held at Mandarin Oriental on Saturday (March 15) in New York City.

The singer wore an Adam Selman Fall 2015 look styled as it was on the runway with the singer opting for matching green and black Manolo Blahnik bow front pumps over the nude pair we saw on the run.

It’s no surprise that Rihanna is opting for a more playful, approachable look during this promo tour – this is a Disney feature after all – however, I am still intrigued to see which direction she will go with for the premieres.

Delfina Delettrez jewels and a half up, half down hairstyle, as per the runway, completed her look.

Lily James In Mary Katrantzou – ‘Cinderella’ Mexico City Photocall

Lily James In Mary Katrantzou - 'Cinderella' Mexico City Photocall

Following the premiere, Lily James attended a photocall to promote her new film ‘Cinderella’ at the Four Seasons Hotel on Friday (March 6) in Mexico.

Following a succession of pretty Cinderella-esque gowns, the British actress switched gears for the photocall wearing a Mary Katrantzou Resort 2015 embroidered dress.

I love the change of pace; after all, one can’t wear a gown to a photocall, unless it’s Cannes, where all bets are off.

This shows a more youthful, energetic side to her style, with colours being the dominating factor.

Alexandre Birman electric-blue ‘Lolita’ knot sandals topped off the look, with barely any makeup giving her a fresh-faced glow.

If you are looking for a connection, the surrealism and vibrancy of Disney’s ‘Fantasia’ inspired Mary Katrantzou’s Resort 2015 collection.

Lilla Crawford In Giulietta – ‘Into the Woods’ Tokyo Photocall

Lilla Crawford In Giulietta - 'Into the Woods' Tokyo Photocall

Meryl Streep and Lilla Crawford attended the photocall for ‘Into the Woods’ held at the Ritz Carlton Tokyo on Thursday (March 5) in Tokyo, Japan.

Meryl kept her look simple in black and ivory separates with a laidback undertone, while young Lilla set a more cheerful tone wearing a Giulietta look that truly awakens spring with its sunny hue.

You can’t help but be enamoured by the girlish charm oozing from this fresh and summery ensemble, even though the black pumps try to give this look a more mature outlook.

Lily James In Gucci & Erdem – ‘Cinderella’ (Cenerentola) Milan Photocall & Premiere

Lily James In Gucci & Erdem - 'Cinderella' (Cenerentola) Milan Photocall & Premiere

Lily James’ next stop on the road for the promotion of her latest movie ‘Cinderella’ (Cenerentola) took her to Milan, Italy, where she attended both a photocall and the premiere on Thursday (February 18). As you can see from both looks, the princess theme has given way to sleeker, more modern looks, perhaps to highlight her new strawberry-blonde tresses.

Photocall: The British actress started off her day wearing a Gucci Spring 2015 halter dress. I love the marriage of the understated midi silhouette with a glamorous scarlet-red hue, which she kept contemporary with black strappy Christian Louboutin ‘Viennana’ sandals.

Premiere: She opted to forgo the expected gown for the premiere for an a Erdem Spring 2015 midi dress. Despite wishing this was floor length, one can’t help but be captivated by the opulence of this floral embroidered dress. Flavourful of romance with controlled sensuality, while I love the styling – which included Jimmy Choo ‘Elsa’ sandals – I’m unsure about the berry lip here.

Margot Robbie In Marni & Valentino – Sanremo 2015

Margot Robbie In Marni & Valentino - Sanremo 2015

Will Smith and Margot Robbie continued to promote their new movie ‘Focus’ in Sanremo, Italy, on Valentine’s Day (February 14).

Sanremo 2015 Day 3 Photocall: During the 65th Festival della Canzone Italiana 2015 at Teatro Ariston they attended a photocall, with Will wearing a mix of smart-casual pieces that, besides the shoes, looked like golfing gear, while Margot wore a Marni Resort 2015 look with black Brian Atwood ‘Besame’ pumps. The skirt I can get on board with, but the top would’ve fared better for me without the sheer sleeves.

Sanremo 2015 Closing Night: The actors opted for dark colours for their after-dark looks later that same evening. He looked handsome in Armani, while she forced me to lower my expectations for this promo tour once again, wearing perhaps one of her least flattering looks. It’s almost hard to believe that this navy sheer and velvet gown hails from the Valentino Spring 2015 collection. I don’t think anything – belt or a different colour – would’ve helped this. This dress is doing her zero favours.

Which look, if any, do you like?

Cate Blanchett In Givenchy – ‘Cinderella’ Berlin Film Festival Photocall & Premiere

Cate Blanchett In Givenchy - 'Cinderella' Berlin Film Festival Photocall & Premiere

Cate Blanchett captivated during both the ‘Cinderella’ photocall and premiere hosted at the 65th Berlinale International Film Festival in Berlin, Germany on Friday (February 13).

Photocall: At the Grand Hyatt Hotel, the actress who plays the Evil Stepmother in the film couldn’t have looked more chic in a Givenchy Pre-Fall 2015 ensemble. The relaxed tailoring of the loose white blouse melded perfectly with the more structured silhouette of the belted skirt and side ruffle detail. The semi-visible balconette bra underneath only added another layer of allure to the look, which she finished with a sophisticated side-parted bun and black Givenchy ‘Matilda’ sandals.

Premiere: Cutting a wickedly good profile, Cate let her hair down for the red carpet at Berlinale Palace and stunned in a bold Givenchy Pre-Fall 2015 metallic gown, slightly modified from the lookbook version. She played her own version of the game of Tetris in the gleaming dress. The pixel-inspired block design was graphic, geometric and glorious, and she balanced it perfectly with Givenchy ‘Clara’ sandals and tousled blonde waves.

An impressive double fashion feature—Queen Cate has done it again.
