Daniel Radcliffe In Todd Snyder, Topman & David Hart - 'Killing Your Darlings' Venice Film Festival Photocall & Premiere

Daniel Radcliffe is just one of the many stars attending Venice Film Festival this week promoting his latest movie, ‘Kill Your Darlings’.

Photocall: The British actor arrived at the Excelsior Hotel with director John Krokidas for the photocall sporting a high-low mix, wearing a semi-casual look which included a charcoal Todd Snyder blazer with a shirt and jeans by Topman and Nike sneakers.

Premiere: I was quite blown away by how smart he looked at the premiere wearing a two-button suit by his favourite tailor David Hart featuring a sharp blue blazer, black pants, a striped shirt and a black tie with George Cleverley monk-strap shoes. I love the mix of colours and how well fitted and impeccably tailored this suit is.

Scarlett Johansson In Sonia Rykiel & Roland Mouret - 'Under the Skin' Venice Film Festival Photocall

Scarlett Johansson has arrived at Venice Film Festival, attending the ‘Under the Skin’ photocall earlier this afternoon.

The beautiful actress kept her look simple and chic while posing at the Palazzo del Casino sporting a black-and-lemon-striped knit tank top from Sonia Rykiel’s Resort 2014 collection with high-waisted Roland Mouret pants and black satin Roger Vivier open-toe heels.

Her photocall-appropriate look was the perfect way to make a return to the red carpet, keeping up the momentum from her last appearance at Comic-Con.

I know ScarJo has put her va-va-voom days behind her, but I’m still holding out for a jaw-dropping look for tonight’s premiere.

Are you holding out the same hope?

Catalina Sandino Moreno In Emilio Pucci - 'Medeas' Venice Film Festival Photocall

Catalina Sandino Moreno attended the ‘Medeas’ photocall during the 2013 Venice Film Festival held at the Palazzo del Casino in Venice, Italy yesterday afternoon.

The Colombian actress looked beautiful wearing a green Emilio Pucci Resort 2014 long-sleeved silk-cady dress with a plunging neckline, a gold accent at the waist, and a slit in the skirt showcasing her Just Fab gold-and-nude ankle-strap sandals.

I love the colour against her olive skin tone and chestnut-hued wavy tresses. This look may be considered too sexy for a photocall, but something is desperately needed to shake this festival alive because I am already over this festival and looking forward to Toronto Film Festival which starts at the end of this week.

Dakota Fanning In Alexander McQueen - 'Night Moves' Venice Film Festival Photocall

Dakota Fanning attended the ‘Night Moves’ Venice Film Festival photocall held at the Palazzo del Casino in Venice, Italy on Saturday afternoon.

The young actress wore a cream leather layered mini dress with whipstitch trims and embossed detailing accented with a leather belt.

There could have been a danger of this look washing her out, but she added a pair of brown Rupert Sanderson pumps and a copper lip colour to prevent this.

I had a feeling this edgy look would be worn by Chloe Sevigny or Anna Paquin, but Dakota makes it work.

Do you agree?

Menswear Roundup

Here is a quick roundup of menswear this week.

Nicolas Cage: The actor attended a photocall for his latest movie, ‘Joe’ during Venice Film Festival this afternoon wearing a Versace head-to-toe look. He donned one-button blue peak lapel Versace suit jacket with a white button-down Versace shirt with subtle gold medusa button detail at the neck. He completed his relaxed photocall look perfectly with black Versace pants.

Kevin Zegers: The actor joined Lily Collins in Mexico for the premiere of their latest movie, ‘The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones.’ He donned grey striped Tommy Hilfiger three-piece suit with a striped white shirt and black tie. I am not a fan of the fit of the suit, I wish it was more slim-fit. Christian Louboutin ‘New Platers’ flats and a Baum et Mercier timepiece completed his look.

Hugh Jackman: The Australian actor joined his two co-stars Tao Okamoto joined Rila Fukushima for ‘The Wolverine’ Tokyo premiere wearing a black suit with a white dress shirt. Sometimes simple and classic works best.

Mia Wasikowska In Proenza Schouler - 'Tracks' Venice Film Festival Photocall

Mia Wasikowska attended the ‘Tracks’ photocall during the 2013 Venice International Film Festival in Italy this afternoon.

Sticking to a strict black-and-white colour palette, she wore a t-shirt dress with a pleated skirt which is in total contrast to the sombre colours she tends to favour.

I can’t remember a time when I saw her wearing something so light, airy and summery.

The matchy-matchy sandals were a perfect finishing touch.

Her hair and makeup simple and neutral; perfectly acceptable for a photocall. This now has me excited for the premiere this evening.

Eva Riccobono In Armani Privé - 70th Venice International Film Festival Photocall

The 70th annual Venice Film Festival starts today and this year’s mistress of ceremonies is the beautiful model Eva Riccobono.

She has some big shoes to fill following Kasia Smutniak, who took our breath away with look after look last year.

Eva started off her campaign by partaking in a photocall on the beach outside the Hotel Excelsior in Venice, Italy yesterday, giving us our first look at the Armani Privé Fall 2013 collection off the runway.
She glided down the beach wearing an enchanting silk-organza-and-lace spaghetti-strap nude gown with floral embroidery. A stunning princess gown if ever I saw one.

The opening ceremony will take place this evening with the premiere of ‘Gravity’, with Sandra Bullock, George Clooney and possibly a yet to be name cocktail waitress in attendance.
