Menswear Midweek Roundup

Here is a quick menswear roundup.

Chris Pine: The new face of the bestselling fragrance Armani Code was a front row guest at Giorgio Armani’s Spring 2015 menswear show during Milan Fashion week on Tuesday (June 24). The handsome actor was of course wearing a Giorgio Armani suit. The finely textured navy notched-lapel suit was styled with a crisp white unbuttoned shirt with contrasting blue loafers. The only thing to improve this look, in my eyes, would be just a bit of product in his hair, or a haircut.

Zach Braff: The actor joined co-star Ashley Greene on the red carpet for the ‘Wish I Was Here’ LA premiere. He wore a Dior Homme grey wool micro-check slim lapel three-piece suit, burgundy cotton shirt, navy silk tie and black calfskin leather derbies. I’m not loving the colour combination here. I would start with losing the fall-hued shirt and tie in favour of lighter shades.

Jim Parsons: Opting for colour which wasn’t so Fall-like, the best thing about this look for me was Jim’s tie.

Justin Theroux In Dior Homme and Jennifer Aniston - 'The Leftovers' New York Premiere

Justin Theroux and Jennifer Aniston attended ‘The Leftovers’ New York premiere held at NYU Skirball Center on Monday (June 23) in New York City.

Justin Theroux: The actor wore a Dior Homme navy wool two-button slim-lapel suit and white cotton shirt accented with a gold pin instead of a tie, giving the classic look a modern edge.

Jennifer Aniston: As her fiancé’s plus one, and knowing Jennifer’s style and love for all things black, I can’t say I am surprised by her look. The black shirt dress with a velvet waistband was pepped up somewhat by studded slingbacks.

Menswear Roundup

Here is a quick menswear roundup.

Matthew McConaughey: The actor is still on a hot streak from awards season as he picked up Best Actor in a Drama Series for ‘True Detective’ at the Critics’ Choice Television Awards. Keeping it simple and classic, the actor wore an Ermenegildo Zegna Couture burgundy herringbone, two-button, notch-lapel suit with a bow tie. His double monk-strap shoes don’t hide the fact that his trousers are just a tad too long.

Mark Wahlberg: The actor joined Li Bingbing and Nicola Peltz on the red carpet for the ‘Transformers: Age of Extinction’ Hong Kong premiere wearing an Armani suit. I love the light grey colour with the lighter blue tie, but the fit is way off for me. It feels at least a size too big.

Josh Dallas: The ‘Once Upon A Time’ actor joined Matthew at the Critics’ Choice Awards yesterday evening. Keeping it all black and not opting for a tie, the actor wore a Z Zegna shawl-collar suit with a grosgrain lapel and buttoned-up shirt.

Menswear Roundup

Here’s a quick look at the fellas taking to the red carpet last night.

Tinie Tempah: The rapper and FROW regular attended the PRISM x Disturbing London Collection launch in London yesterday evening. Looking as sharp as always, Tinie wore a Burberry Tailoring mauve blazer, white shirt and sleek maroon tie, keeping his trousers stylishly (in his eyes at the very least) short, as always. Black loafers and his BFC (British Fashion Council) pin rounded out his look. It may be a familiar format, but the colourways and fits do differ keeping this look fresh and interesting.

Robert Pattinson: The British actor made a guest appearance on ‘Late Night with Seth Meyers’. It appears that the male Dior ambassadors, aren’t held to the same expectations as the women, as Rob wore a Gucci burgundy notch lapel two button Signoria suit paired with an unbuttoned printed Louis Vuitton shirt for a more laid-back feel.

Stephen Moyer: While many guys are delighting with their colourful choices on the red carpet of late, the British actor stuck to black, selecting an Ermenegildo Zegna Couture two-button notched-lapel suit. A wise choice for the ‘True Blood’ premiere, which he attended with his wife Anna Paquin. He styled his look with a Jennifer Meyer earring and Christian Louboutin ‘Trepeter’ flats.

Burberry Prorsum Spring 2015 Mens Front Row

The Burberry Prorsum Spring 2015 menswear show took place during London Collections: Men at their usual home of Kensington Gardens this afternoon (June 17) in London, England. Usually there is an even mix of guys and gals, but this time the fellas dominated the front row.

Tinie Tempah: Perhaps needing a touch more grooming in the hair department, the rapper still looked dapper in his Burberry ivory suit with his standard Burberry cropped trousers, which he paired with a simple white tee. If his light-coloured suit didn’t signal summer, his Jimmy Choo ‘Hayman’ sandals definitely did.

Jourdan Dunn: As the Burberry model wasn’t walking today, she took a pew in the front row, working a casual biker-chic look that included the Burberry Prorsum leather biker jacket much loved by the likes of Keira Knightley and Ashley Madekwe.

David Gandy: Giving us two great looks in the space of two days, the handsome model also opted for a light-coloured blazer and white tee combo, adding a pair of navy slacks held up with a pair of braces.
