Front Row @ Dior Homme Fall 2018

Some of Dior’s most dashing and fashionably daring fans were in attendance at the brand’s Dior Homme Fall 2018 show, held on Saturday (January 20) during Paris Fashion Week.

Robert Pattinson: Monochromatic black proved far from boring on Robert, who cut an impossibly cool profile by wearing a Dior Homme leather bomber jacket over his Dior Homme suit. I love the slightly rebellious effect it provided. A black cotton tee and black leather derbies completed the look.

Bella Hadid: Speaking of style rebels, look no further than Bella who walked on the wild side with Dior Homme’s ‘New Look’ jacket and pants featuring an all-over tribal print. Her silver sunglasses and bandana echoed the same print, with the exposed bra adding her signature side of sexiness. I know those red, fluorescent yellow and white techno sneakers may be a marmite addition to the look, but I was a fan of their unexpectedness.

Future: Rocking the same sneakers that again shone like a beacon on an all-black look, Future paired his with a Dior Homme shiny-effect leather bomber jacket styled over a wool turtleneck and wool pants. The metal round sunglasses added even more attitude.

Front Row @ Louis Vuitton Fall 2018

Louis Vuitton men’s artistic director Kim Jones took his final bow at the brand during the Fall 2018 Menswear show on Thursday (January 18) during Paris Fashion Week. Of course, the front row was buzzing with a roster of guests, with everyone wearing LV—save for Victoria Beckham, who was naturally representing her own namesake line.

David Beckham: David delivered his signature steely stare and edgy sexiness with effortlessly relaxed flair in this monochromatic navy ensemble topped by a nubby, army-green trench and blinding white sneakers.

Brooklyn Beckham: Like father, like son; Brooklyn showed that good style runs in the family with this look that married the playful, youthful quirk of the printed word shirt and skinny, slouched trousers with a classic, tweedy overcoat.

Joe Jonas: Opting for a more experimental look, Joe paired this twist on a Hawaiian-print shirt with satiny joggers and platform sneakers for an interesting, directional style statement. Although, perhaps the look was calling out for a fanny pack, as well.

Front Row @ Valentino Fall 2018 Menswear Paris Fashion Week

The Valentino Menswear Fall 2018 show was held on Wednesday (January 17) as part of Paris Fashion Week—and the front row featured an eclectic mix of fans.

Joe Keery: We don’t see the ‘Stranger Things’ actor as much as his stylish younger counterparts, but here he showed that he can hold his own with this Valentino Spring 2018 ensemble that offered a decorative twist on a varsity jacket. With the cropped trousers and polo shirt, this was a collegiate look ready for fashion university.

Mark Ruffalo: The deep aubergine tones of this Valentino Resort 2018 ensemble provided a vibrant take on standard suiting.

BryanBoy: Never one to leave us yawning, the fashion blogger also played with proportion in this cropped jacket and pants. I love how he primarily let the colour-blocked bomber be the main attraction, with the stylish sneakers rounding it out on a fashionably sporty note.

Chris Hemsworth In John Varvatos – ’12 Strong’ World Premiere

Chris Hemsworth was front and center at the ’12 Strong’ world premiere on Tuesday (January 16) in New York City.

John Varvatos is a brand that unites old world craftsmanship and refined tailoring with modern innovations, and that’s very much what Chris is portraying here in his petrol blue suit.

Opting to go sans tie brought about some suave flair to his smart look, with a chunky timepiece and Christian Louboutin ‘Greggo Orlato’ shoes providing the finishing touch.

Menswear Red Carpet Roundup

The gents have been making some dapper statements on the red carpet of late.

Bradley Cooper: The actor looked suave in Ermenegildo Zegna Couture and Louboutin shoes at IWC Schaffhausen’s Maison launch of its Jubilee Collection at the Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie (SIHH) on Tuesday (January 16). The velvet jacket and bow tie are a debonair combination with the blue in the watch adding some subtle colour.

Luke Evans: The actor joined Dakota Fanning at ‘The Alienist’ New York premiere on Tuesday (January 16). The subtle pinstripe in his Polo Ralph Lauren suit played off the pale blue shirt. There is something slightly off with the jacket. Methinks a single breasted style would have suited him better.

James Marsden: Also at IWC Schaffhausen’s Maison launch of its Jubilee Collection, the actor looked dashing in a slim navy suit and Louboutin shoes. The soft weave on the fabric could have come across as messy, but its sharp finish speaks to a master tailor.

2018 NAACP Image Awards Menswear Roundup

A handful of suave men joined the ladies for the 2018 NAACP Image Awards on Monday (January 15) in Pasadena, California.

Marcus Scribner: From the wide wing of the metallic accent lapels on this Grayscale velvet tuxedo, to the gold embellished slippers, you would never accuse the look of lacking flair.

Chadwick Boseman: The actor dressed up in a Prada suit that got a boost of decorative appeal from contrast lapels and matching dark Christian Louboutin loafers.

Algee Smith: Bare chest and bare ankles, Algee turned up the heat by skipping the shirt and socks.

Tom Hiddleston In Gucci & Eddie Redmayne In Burberry – ‘Early Man’ London Premiere

Tom Hiddleston and Eddie Redmayne were in attendance at the ‘Early Man’ London premiere on Sunday (January 14).

Tom Hiddleton: The actor’s beard will undoubtedly be the focus, but he looked suave in a navy Gucci suit. He kept things classic with the pale blue shirt and red speckled tie. The brown shoes were another debonair addition.

Eddie Redmayne: It’s easy to think that the actor is at a different event given that his Burberry look is much more casual. I think the duffle jacket would typically be better suited to a photocall, but I am making allowances as this is a family-centric premiere for an animated film and the look works with Maisie Williams’ Coach number. It’s a shame that the layers and his hair weren’t a bit neater.
