Hayden Panettiere In Dennis Basso – 2014 Met Gala

Hayden Panettiere looked delighted to be a part of the red carpet fashion parade at the 2014 Met Gala on Monday (May 5) in New York City.

The actress wore a water-colored inspired Dennis Basso gown from the designer’s Spring 2014 collection.

While such a voluminous gown could have overpowered the pint-sized star, Hayden pulls this dress off beautifully.

The colors and print are refreshing and ladylike, and the slightly messy updo and fresh makeup look fresh and young.

I think she looks good, but is a very princess look for my taste

I do agree that she pulls off this voluminous gown. She looks lovely.

Such a princessey look should be a cliche, but I think she looks great in it! This silhouette seems to work a lot better for her than the straighter looks she often wears. Love the colors on her and the simple styling. Girly but classy.

If the theme were Southern Cotillion, I could get behind this.

A+ for being theme appropriate, but… sorry, a bit too pastel cutesy for my taste.

Surprisingly this voluminous gown looks pretty good on her petite figure. She looks beautiful.

The fact that she looks so happy to be there makes me like her outfit.

Makes me think of Cinderella but I do like this, one of my favourites of the night.

A smile goes a long way! I would have loved this if the print were more interesting and less cutesy but I do like the cut and silhouette on her.

this is a joke right? this is a shiny blue and pink cotton candy bridesmaid kentucky derby nightmare!

I love the silhouette, but the fabric/colors/pattern make it a bit tacky/barbie like.
