Vicky Krieps in Bottega Veneta for ‘The Idiot(s)’ London Film Festival Screening

Vicky Krieps attended the The Idiot(s) screening alongside Aimee Lou Wood on Wednesday evening during the 2026 BFI London Film Festival at BFI Southbank, wearing a look that was entirely in keeping with her unconventional approach to red carpet dressing.

We’ve come to expect a few quirks from Vicky, particularly her love of oversized silhouettes, so this Bottega Veneta Fall 2026 look feels right at home in her wardrobe.

The grey V-neck jumper and generously proportioned black trousers could have felt a little too relaxed for a film festival screening, but the dramatic white ruffled collar changes everything. There’s something almost Elizabethan about it, and I love how that unexpected detail transforms what would otherwise be a fairly ordinary combination.

The trousers bunch around her feet, concealing most of her Bottega Veneta Scaletta pumps, but as I’ve said before, oversized tailoring is a Vicky signature.

This won’t be everyone’s idea of red carpet dressing, but I always enjoy seeing Vicky embrace fashion that reflects her personality.
