Everyone Wore Gabriela Hearst for The Nat Gala 2026
Gabriela Hearst dressed several guests for The Nat Gala 2026 at HALO in New York, with each look reflecting a different side of her design aesthetic. The designer’s philosophy of ‘honest luxury’ was evident in a mix of tailoring, sculptural eveningwear and delicate embroidery.

A Welcome Splash Of Colour
It’s not often we see Michelle Pfeiffer embrace colour, which makes this Gabriela Hearst ensemble all the more appealing. The Orren blazer and Vesta flared trousers feature a mountainscape and waterfall print created in collaboration with Paul Smith, but what I love most is the colour combination. The blue silk blouse and earthy rust trousers work beautifully together, while the printed jacket ties everything together.
Classic With A Twist
David E. Kelley kept things traditional in a navy Gabriela Hearst Irving blazer and Sebastian trousers. The electric-blue nubuck Ohio slip-on sneakers added a welcome touch of colour.

Black And White Drama
Sophie Hunter wore a Gabriela Hearst Spring 2026 Sephir dress, with sculptural black sleeves, a contrasting ivory skirt and an asymmetric silhouette making this look particularly interesting. A less visible illusion mesh panel would have created a more convincing plunging neckline, but I love that Sophie opted for something this expressive.

Romantic By Design
Gabriela Hearst opted for a more romantic direction in her own Fall 2026 Neville slip dress and Dimsdale cape, which had a beautiful vintage quality. I particularly love the cape, which adds another layer of romance, although some might feel that it crowded the dress.
