Amy Adams In Valentino Couture – ‘Man of Steel’ London Premiere

Amy Adams In Valentino Couture - 'Man of Steel' London Premiere

Sadly, Amy Adams was welcomed to London by a downpour of rain for the ‘Man of Steel’ premiere held at The Odeon Leicester Square this evening.

Thankfully, the weather conditions didn’t stop her selecting this stunning Valentino Spring 2013 Couture strapless nude A-line frock with a black embroidered overlay.

She did have an option to cover up; however, she decided not to wear the sheer jacket this look was presented with on the runway.

With the unpredictability of the wind and rain, she wisely wore her hair up in a simple bun with a black hair band.

Casadei black pumps, flawless makeup and drop earrings completed her look.

Are you curious to see how this look would’ve worked on the red carpet with the jacket, or did Amy make the right choice?

Not sure if the jacket would have elevated the look, but just the bodice is

Plain bland and looks as something is missing. Maybe the jacket sans sleeves would have worked perfectly..
Nevertheless I love the skirt !!!!

+1 I don’t like the bodice, wish there was something more–and the sleeveless jacket sounds like a great idea! The skirt is great, and so is her styling.

I love the dress, but the way the bodice sits so low over emphasises the bareness of the shoulders. That is what makes me like the jacket on the runway, but really, it needs to sit higher.

I think she looks totally stunning. So glad she skipped the jacket; I didn’t care for this look on the runway, and seeing it on the RC, I realize it was b/c of that jacket, and that the dress, itself, is actually lovely. I would def consider this for BDOTW.

she looks gorgeous!! she made the right choice

The dress sits a little too low on the bust, so a jacket (though perhaps not the one seen on the runway) would have balanced things out. And it wouldn’t kill her to find some more interesting shoes, either.

total boredom. The jacket would have elevated this look, by next page I will have forgotten this. She is one of those actresses that needs to work on elevating her presence on the RC, she just blends into the walls.

I find this look a look a bit dull tbh-
The jacket would have added a nice touch and made it more memorable-I love her natural makeup and hair style though…

I can’t stand that sheer bodice. Very cheap looking. Not sure the jacket would have saved this look.

This is what the runway look screams to me: the jacket almost as an afterthought to save this, make it presentable. It fails at that for me unfortunately.

Hm…. hmmm… I find this more intriguing than I actually like it. The bodice makes her look so naked that I keep taking the closest look that I can to see how it’s done. Which makes me feel a bit odd. I don’t like the jacket, but the dress is only a bit better. Miss for me, she’s done so much better in the past!

      …this week in fact!

I don’t like the jacket, I’m glad she didn’t wore it. She looks gorgeous. The skirt is beautiful.

The bodice is so plain and unattractive, the look is more complete with the sheer jacket. That being said, I dislike this frock either way. Fresh and lovely from the neck up.

Better without the jacket….it would’ve aged her

      I agree.
