Zhang Ziyi In Jason Wu – 2013 Met Gala

Zhang Ziyi In Jason Wu - 2013 Met Gala

Zhang Ziyi looked flawless in Jason Wu at the Met Gala.

The ‘Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon’ actress wore a strapless red-lace, trumpet skirt gown from Jason Wu, and she absolutely radiated as she made her way down the red carpet. She accented the gown with Christian Louboutin jewels, shoes and clutch.

Of course there’s nothing punk here, unless you count her black manicure, but I still love the look.

Her simple cat eye, peachy cheeks and semi-matte nude lips are spot-on, and the gorgeous star is impeccable from top to bottom.

It’s a lovely look, flawlessly styled–I would have hiked the dress up an inch, but it’s not punk at all. Where is the drama?

I prefer an amazing dress, a gorgeous silhouette and a beautiful styling which does not say “punk” at all, than a RIDICULOUS-over-the top-trying to impress outfit, which I think it would have been a miss in her case.

Although this gown looks familiar and very like Dolce&Gabbana, I do love this look except the clutch. The gown fits her like a glove.

Nice dress, but been done a million times before. And perhaps not dramatic enough for the Met Gala. That black clutch doesn’t belong anywhere near this dress either.

Love it, definitely one of my best dress of the night.

It’s weird this year, stars who want to stick to the “PUNK theme” failed because they tried too hard.

I don’t think that’s true at all. Rosie Huntington Whiteley, Cara Delevingne, & Sienna Miller…just to name a few pulled off the punk theme beautifully.

Best dressed, sure, maybe for a movie premiere but not for the MET.

oh wow what do we have here…a boring strapless dress, very hollywood actresses aka very boring aka not for the met gala. TWO THUMBS DOWN.

I agree that there is nothing punk, but she is so beautiful, that I forgive her….

This look has quite a few elements that would make me dislike it, but nope. Zhang looks beyond beautiful, to the point it makes me stop caring if it’s just another lace gown and unappropriated.

This look is perfection, she looks so beautiful. I would have loved to have seen Zhang go punk but I can forgive her.

    She looks lovely.

Absolutely beautiful. But this could have been worn on any red carpet. Definitely not on theme. But still, one of my favorites of the night.
