Olivia Munn In Michael Kors – 2013 Time 100 Gala

Olivia Munn In Michael Kors - 2013 Time 100 Gala

Olivia Munn took to the red carpet for the 2013 Time 100 Gala, held at Frederick P. Rose Hall, Jazz at Lincoln Center in New York City yesterday evening.

The actress lit up the red carpet, wearing a bold-hued canary-yellow Michael Kors Spring 2013 lace strapless gown with an elegant train.

I love how she kept the accessories to a minimum, opting only for a single gold cuff.

A natural radiant glow and super-sleek tresses completed her look.

I would neither add to nor take away anything from this look. She is utter perfection here.

Shiny hair envy over here! Perfection

A simple but good look. The gown is very striking, and I think she pulls off that difficult shade of yellow. It’s not BDOTW-worthy to me but a good look.

WOWWWWWWWW. This is possibly the BEST colour for someone of Olivia’s complexion and hair colouring. Absolutely STUNNING!

Love this buttercup shade of yellow – so difficult to wear for most mortals. I always love anything by Michael Kors – I just wish for a little “more” in the styling department, I am personally not a fan of just letting the dress do the work, just give me an earring or something…

I agree with you. I think one piece of jewelry would have made this better.

      • dee April 24, 2013 at 13:28 #

One more piece of jewelry like earrings.

My 1st thought – missing tiny diamond stud earrings, they would’ve completed the look perfectly, without ‘compromising’ the minimal approach.

    Gorgeous!

  9. Yeliz April 24, 2013 at 13:07 #

Drop-dead gorgeous. I love everything about this summery and elegant look, the colour looks amazing against her complexion. Love her simple styling as well, too much accessories would’ve been overkill. BDOTW worthy, I agree.

    Goddess !

  11. Alicat April 24, 2013 at 13:18 #

Simply stunning. The bright yellow, which could be a risky colour for many, compliments her skin tone and dark hair perfectly.

She looks good but i dont think this is BDOTW. There is something missing in the styling.

  13. Christine April 24, 2013 at 14:37 #

    Pretty.

I like the simple styling but at the same time I’m not crowing BDOTW either. I think she looks a tad shapeless around the waist.

  15. Anissa April 24, 2013 at 15:38 #

I guess I’m in the minority but I think the yellow (along w/ the backdrop hue)makes her face look like she has too much bronzer. Especially as her lower arms look so pale in comparison.

    I’m not a fan.

  16. Rebecca Z April 24, 2013 at 16:19 #

I’m sold. It’s spectacular. I think she is a gorgeous woman who gets a lot of rather unjustified criticism. This gown in perfect for her–the color and the cut. I am not usually a big fan of all lace gowns but this works for me because the color is so dramatic and different. BDOTW for sure.

  17. Kate April 24, 2013 at 18:27 #

Not BDOTW. She looks a bit shapeless around the waist and needs stud earrings because the super plain hair/makeup + bare neckline looks strange with the gown.
Also, lose the train. The Time 100 Gala is merely a dinner reception put on by a weekly news magazine. It’s not an awards show or a premiere, and she’s not the star of anything to do with this event.

    Wow! This is perfection personified!

  19. Nadine April 24, 2013 at 22:57 #

Love this, best look from her ever.

  20. Cindy April 25, 2013 at 03:58 #

I’m sorry, I can’t get past the over tanned/bronzed face.

That colour is so great on her! She looks fab. Love the simplicity of the whole look. Hair, makeup, minimal accessories.

  23. Ysatis April 25, 2013 at 09:48 #

Sorry but I don’t get all the raves about this dress. I just see a quite shapeless yellow gown.

  24. Summer Rain April 25, 2013 at 17:14 #

I will say yellow is one of my least favorite colors but this shade is so soft and subdued. I love the look on her. The color is fantastic and really does her justice.
