Emmy Rossum attended the New York screening of her latest movie, ‘Beautiful Creatures’, held at the Tribeca Cinemas on Sunday evening.
Dressed in a blue Christian Dior dress, the look, fairly conservative from the front, has a sexy opening at the back.
Her figure-flattering dress was styled with Charlotte Olympia ‘Isadora’ strappy shoes and a black Ralph Lauren clutch, but it’s her House of Lavande earrings I’m most entranced by.
Sporting a lacquered-and-loose wavy hairstyle, the actress went for pretty neutral makeup with the addition of blue cat-eyes, which complemented her dress and made her brown bambi eyes pop.
She never disappoints.

Looks great! I feel like Emmy would be a much better fit with Miss Dior than Jennifer Lawrence.
Agreed. Emmy looks fabulous. Jennifer Lawrence is better suited to the likes of Prabal Gurung, Calvin Klein or maybe Miu Miu. She just doesn’t feel like a Dior girl. She’s young and has lots of energy. Dior feels too sophisticated for her.
Agreed. But the fact is she is contracted right now and the irony is she could easily pull off a dress like this. So why aren’t they picking pieces like this from the collection for her?

wow! those earrings are to die for! and she looks beautiful. she has this refined and polished vibe going on about her all the time and yet there’s a certain freshness to whatever she puts on her back. i really like her. and every time i see her that pink dress she wore comes flashing to my mind! hahaha!

I enjoy seeing her polished girly aesthetic. The fit of the refined dress is superb but the sandals and earrings make this captivating.
I think this is one of my favorite looks from Emmy. Even better than that hot pink Monique Lhullier from last year. The shoes + dress + earrings are perfection.
However, I am not a fan of the lacquered hair trend. Emmy’s is better than most, but it still looks like she just got out the shower to me. And then partially blow dried her hair.
