Josh Duhamel and Julianne Hough joined Nicholas Sparks, author of ‘Safe Haven’, for the ‘Filmmakers, Author and Stars Bring the Book to Life’ event on Thursday evening.
The actress, who posed with her co-star in front of a green screen set up at Castle Studios in Burbank, California, wore a Temperley London Spring 2013 dress.
This red-and-nude satin ribbon dress is our third look at this collection off the runway, but the first I have disliked.
I think it’s the sheer yoke panelling which is throwing me off this look, plus I don’t really buy Julianne’s attempt to look sweet and ethereal. I much prefer her when she dresses with an edge and has a bit more attitude like her Kaufmanfranco look from last year.
Save this dress for Zooey Deschanel, or Thandie Newton who worked this look in blue perfectly last week.
Sethi Couture earrings and Saint Laurent ‘Tribute’ beige suede pumps completed her look.

This is too sweet candy girl for her. Not liking this dress on her.
I don’t like this dress on her at all, i am not a fan of her style
This is how to ruin a gorgeous dress from my favourite collection of SS13…
It just doesn’t work on her. The sheer panel is gathering and this colour is not for her either.
Shame.
seeing her in that bob cut reminds me of a younger Meg Ryan.
Yikes! This is tragically bad! How does she continually get it so wrong? Her hair and makeup are looking good (for her) at least.
I think it’s the hair but she really reminds me of Meg Ryan here.
Not feeling this dress on her, though the orange does suit her very much.
I actually like this on her. Don’t know how the sheer panel could do anything but pucker the way the dress is constructed. I like the casual hair and shoes with this girly dress.
Thandie Newton wore the blue version of this dress last week, or am I wrong? She looked much better. Julianne’s shoes are awful.
yes, the material is different http://www.redcarpet-fashionawards.com/2013/01/13/thandie-newton-in-temperley-london-bafta-los-angeles-2013-awards-season-tea-party/
I much prefer that colour and material of this dress.
I like it. She looks much better when does feminine; she looks her age. Her edgy looks try too hard and often end up cheapening her style.
Thandie’s version was SO much better. Also, those pumps are really bad. The dress is cute, but suffers in the color and fabric choice.
