Jamie Foxx joined the lovely Kerry Washington on the red carpet yesterday evening for the ‘Django Unchained’ Berlin premiere at CineStar Potsdamer Platz in Germany.
Looking as cool as a cucumber, the actor wore a Calvin Klein Fall 2012 suit.
Switching gears from the dark suit, white shirt and tie combo, Jamie wore a black turtleneck with his charcoal one-button peaked lapel tuxedo with a black satin contrast.
I have to say he pulls this look off really well, but I don’t see this becoming a red carpet trend anytime soon.
Yay or nay on the turtleneck?

I like the idea of this look with the turtleneck, but I don’t like the turtleneck with this particular suit. Anyway, kudos to him for trying something new.
Yay on the turtleneck, nay on the suit lol.
It’s too shiny and I don’t like the cut.

I totally agree with you. For me, turtleneck is for more casual or classic clothes. This suit is incredibly ugly, the cut and the fabric are terrible.
+6 He’s got a cool old school soul singer vibe in the sweater. But the shiny suit is not working.
Nay on the turtleneck and the suit needs to be tailored better.
I think you’re right, FC. He makes this work, but I don’t want to see many more t-necks.

It’s like…Star Trek, Next Generation Formalwear. Not the best, imo.
It is the wrong turtleneck and a truly ugly suit.
Yep and yep!
I think it’s working for him, he exudes a strong cool vibe.
Yes,so true
I agree.
Yay on the turtleneck, but not with this suit. It comes off as trying too hard.
I think he looks great. Kudos to him for stepping outside the box. I think if the suit were more tailored it might do that weird pulling thing that most of the men’s suits do across the mid-section. Love the turtleneck.
I dislike the shininess of the suit more than the turtleneck.
Nay on the turtleneck!
