Showcasing another super-voluminous ‘do, Solange Knowles joined Peter Facinelli and Ed Burns on the red carpet at the Ermenegildo Zegna boutique in New York City yesterday evening for the brand’s ‘Essenze’ Collection launch event.
The singer/DJ took a rare night off from wearing colourful prints to don a peachy Olcay Gulsen dress, which is one of Sophia Bush’s favourite brands.
Solange’s jersey dress, featuring daring double thigh-high slits and a high neckline, was styled with B Brian Atwood ‘Labrea’ corded snakeskin sandals, a gold jewels and a gold embellished clutch.
This is yet another sexy chic look from Miss Knowles. She continues to impress and delight with her sartorial choices.

Looks good, but always the same..
The two slits aren’t the most flattering on anyone, but the dress looks a lot better on her than on the model.
I’m amazed by how unflattering this dress looks on the model, on Solange , and on pretty much any other woman on the planet, I imagine.

I like how she accessorized the look but the dress isn’t doing her body any favours unfortunately, it’s not working well on her figure, and while I’m a fan of her signature ‘do, wish she’d tamed it a bit, it’s exaggerated to a distracting unappealing degree.

I can’t get past the slits (if they can even be called slits, they’re so prominent). I absolutely loathe this look. The color doesn’t flatter her and it looks extremely awkward (imagine trying to walk in that). This dress was clearly made for someone with a less curvy figure because the fit is all wrong on Solange, yet looks way better on the model.

The woman likes her slits lately. It’s not my favourite outfit but she rock this sporty flapper dress to look fun and funky with the hair and sexy sandals.
Her hair is too wild here; I don’t love the bangs. I like her accessories but this dress is so tacky, unflattering, and simaltaneously bland–like a wrestler’s singlet mixed with a bodycast. I don’t know. Just bad.

Absolutely loving the hair! Is this a ‘more over big sis, I got this on lock’ type of new feeling? Ha! I like the dress, its simple with an edge and some sex-kitten appeal. Heels are perfect, as it doesn’t minus or add to the look. Just right.
This is a no from me. The double slits are terrible, they don’t look great on the model and with Solange’s stance they look even worse and give a tacky feel to the bottom half of the dress. The styling is good though.
