Rachael Taylor also attended the 2012 Gotham Independent Film Awards held at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City last night, alongside Marion Cotillard, Amy Adams and Emily Blunt.
She didn’t wear a dress, instead opting for chic simple separates by Theyskens’ Theory.
I love this laidback menswear-inspired look; Michelle Ryan is hopefully taking notes as Rachael’s vest and slim fitted pants were styled with Gianvito Rossi for Altuzarra strappy (to-die-for) sandals, a gold Cartier bracelet (as loved by Kristen Stewart) and a bi-colour white-and-ivory Céline clutch.
Once again, Rachael’s minimalist approach and expert styling totally wins me over.

Very well styled, ht2 perfect effortless look. Thumbs up from me.
+1
She looks gorgeous, but this look screams summer to me. What is wrong with season appropriate dressing?
LeeLee Sobeiski wants her closet back but is happy to welcome Ms. Taylor into her Minimalist Club.
perfection!
Hmm…yes it’s better than Michelle’s by a mile but I just don’t like this kind of strict, simple look.
Much better styling and she looks good.
She looks amazing. Sometimes “less is more”.
So true! She looks amazing.
So seemingly simple still so stunning.
Perfection. This has everything I love, a well cut suit, a bit of edge, great footwear. A clean unfussy look.
