Salma Hayek also attended the 2012 Bambi Awards held at the Stadthalle Düsseldorf in Germany yesterday evening, where she collected the ‘Best International Actress’ award at the prestigious ceremony.
Proving that Lady Gaga doesn’t have the monopoly on the Saint Laurent Spring 2013 collection, the actress wore a black dress from said collection.
The plunging dress, with an embellished gold trim which snakes around to her back, was styled with gold jewels, including a selection of cuffs on both wrists and a black shoulder bag with a gold chain.
My first reaction to this look was total boredom, but it grew on me quite quickly.
Salma tends to make a lot of missteps but on this occasion the dress is flattering, the twins are on display in a tasteful way and she accessorized perfectly – nothing to fault from me here.

I’m surprised how well this works for her. Definitely one of her better looks as of late!
+1
I prefer the dress as presented on the runaway without the hat though…..nothing special on Salma

This grew on me too, but the hair is meh!
I like how she styled it with the gold accessories. otherwise a very safe look without them.
I think the dress that she is wearing is “inspired” on the design displayed on the catwalk, because the fabric looks totally different. While the one on the catwalk is fluid and light, the one that Salma is wearing looks rigid and pretty common. So, I prefer thousand times the model look…
I like this! It’s simple and classy.
I love this look on her, but I have to say that it reminds me a lot of dresses we wore in the 70s. We all wore our hair the same way, too–long and parted in the middle. We just weren’t nearly as beautiful!
Boring is a relief with this woman.
She lacks height to carry off this dress well, the boobage is still distracting, and the overall look feels costumey.
love the outfit.
All she needs is a cauldron and a witch hat to complete the look.
It’s a bit boring/matronly and too revealing…does nothing for her.
I’m in total shock that a woman with curves went anywhere near that collection.
