Eva Marcille hosted the 22nd Annual NAACP Theatre Awards on Monday which was held at the Directors Guild of America in LA.
The former ‘America’s Next Top Model’ winner wore a stunning EMIL Couture gown from the Austrian designer’s ‘Golden Age’ collection.
Her extravagant black mermaid gown featuring beaded details and a pleated skirt is very much a show-stopping piece.
I can imagine Eva was very much the belle of this ball in this dramatic gown.

I can’t work out why, and I know that I’ll be the only one, but the gown looks cheap to me. I feel like you could buy this at any prom dress store. The varying shades of foundation and the nails aren’t helping either.

Not usually my kind of dress but one can feel she bought drama and glamour with this look. The make-up isn’t the best though.

This dress is magnificent! Eva definitely does justice to the gown and carries it off beautifully. Great look!
The make up isn’t good, but what does go a very long way is her short hair. The contrast between a very feminine dress and the short hair is amazing.
It’s certainly a dramatic look, and she is very statuesque looking here–she’s only a little over 5’6″! (My height). The hair and makeup really look unnatural, though, and clash with the look. Not loving the nails either.
