Taylor Swift attended the launch party for the ‘Red’ deluxe edition of her CD with Target at the Skylight West in New York City yesterday evening.
The young singer wore a pretty black vintage dress for the occasion.
This sophisticated dress with a flared skirt is all part of the new (sparkle-free) style direction the singer has been taking.
She did however stick with her signature red pout, opting to style her wavy tresses into a chic chignon.
Diamond-encrusted earrings and Christian Louboutin heels completed her look.

She looks lovely. She certainly makes the bangs work–everyone else should just give up.
I like this look better than her tired sparkle. She looks pretty.
In a few cases, Simple is the best.
I really like this look, head to toe. Hair, makeup, dress, shoes… Just the right touches.

me too. id wear that dress in a heartbeat. the other day i was checking out a dress with the same cut (but in dark green and different material). that shape is superflattering and work appropiate
I completely agree! Love it
This subtly gorgeous look is BDOTW-worthy imo!
Sparkle Swift will peek her head out occasionally but now her style is Kennedy Swift- Vintage-Retro Girly Glam.
Something about this just screams “I’m trying to be a Kennedy!” to me.
aw, would it have been too cheesy for her to wear red?
regardless, she looks uber chic.
She looks so great! Those bangs, that makeup…they’re flawless. The dress is beautiful in an understated way. I feel like it could have easily looked unflattering or disproportional on someone else, because of its shape and cut, but Taylor has just the right figure to wear it without looking too lanky (she’s five-eleven) or too short.
