Mary Elizabeth Winstead attended the ‘Smashed’ screening during the 20th Hamptons Film Festival at the UA East Hampton Theater in East Hampton, New York on Saturday.
The actress wore her second Erdem dress in a row, but on this occasion she wore a look from the designer’s Resort 2013 collection.
Her multi-coloured floral chiffon dress was styled with an uber sexy pair of Jimmy Choo ‘Kafira’ mesh ankle boot to add an edge to the look.
The rouge lip colour was the perfect choice for this autumnal look.
Mary’s other accessories included onyx drop earrings and a Lauren Merkin ‘Lucca’ clutch.
Do you like the edgy footwear, or would you’ve preferred something daintier?

the footwear absolutely ruin the look.
I love this dress, but I don’t really love the styling. the whole look is just a bit too dark, whereas I wish that she would have gone for lighter styling. To be honest, the pink Kafira boots are my favourite shoe, probably, this season, and I just kina wish that she had worn them instead of the black (with pink lips and a lighter clutch).
I like the edgier footwear. I think it contrasts nicely with the dress and keeps the look young and fresh.
Not flattering. Wish Julianne Moore would wear that blue dress with the print midriff!
Love the dress, hair and make-up but I would have preferred a daintier heel… The dress length and boot height cut her leg off in an unflattering place.
Agree 100% on all points.
I love this girl’s style! Erdem is a good brand for her. I really like this look for her. The booties were actually a good choice.
For some reason, I love this look from head to toe. She looks amazing!
Me too! I love this look!
Agreed. Contrasting the dress with edgier shoes makes sense. I also like the longer length of the hem. She looks better than the models. This is perfect.
The super sexy edgier booties are way out of place here, an elegant sandal would´ve done the job. The dress could´ve been a tad shorter, it´s starting to look frumpy.
I adore the dress but I hate the shoe choice with the dress.
I think the shoes were a bad choice here, as they don’t go well with the length of the dress. Plus, I don’t really like their color. Maybe if they matched to one of the lighter colors of the dress, they would have looked a bit better.
