Elizabeth Banks was smouldering on the red carpet last night at the ArcLight Hollywood, for the ‘Pitch Perfect’ LA Premiere.
The blonde beauty wore an Alexander McQueen Resort 2013 dress.
Her black bustier dress with a peephole detail was styled with a Rauwolf architectural shaped copper clutch and Jimmy Choo ‘Taste’ sandals, which have suddenly become the shoe of the moment thanks to Kristen Stewart and Ginnifer Goodwin.
Stunning Marina B Classic Collection ‘Troc’ earrings, a ring by the same designer, a wavy faux bob and smoky eyes completed her look.
As always, my girl never lets me down on the red carpet.

While the look is styled perfectly, every detail seems to be spot-on, but it feels a tad forced overall.

The dress is slammin, the shoes, bag and earrings are divine. I wish her hair looked more shiny. It looks a little damaged on the ends.
Without the details it looks a bit like Miley’s Bra + high waisted skirt look or maybe like spanx!!
The dress is beautiful and she looks great, but what remains of the original dress? The fabric was so interesting! And those shoes… horrible, for me.

The hair? Not so much. I understand what she was going for here but the deliberately-messy do can be hard to pull off with heavily processed hair. It looks a bit fried, in desperate need of conditioner.

While the dress is perfectly fitted I hate how it looks like a strapless bra and a high-waisted skirt. Without the cut-out, I would like it better. Still, it is fairly basic–maybe in electric blue? In the end, Im just not not a fan of the dress. Beautiful neck up, and I like the shoes.
