Lea Michele has a very good reason to be gleeful this morning, as she’s just been confirmed as the newest face of L’Oreal Paris.
Lea will be joining the likes of Eva Longoria, Beyonce Knowles, Aishwarya Rai, Freida Pinto, Milla Jovovich, Doutzen Kroes, Fan Bingbing, Sonam Kapoor, Jennifer Lopez and Cheryl Cole who are all ambassadors of the brand.
The ‘Glee’ actress said via twitter, “I’m overjoyed and beyond honored to be a part of the L’Oréal Paris family.”
I’m equally overjoyed.
Just imagine how epic the Eva Longoria/Lea Michele red carpet diva face-off will be on the red carpet at Cannes 2013.
Bring it ladies.
Lea’s first print and television ads will launch in early 2013.
Let’s hope she returns her hair to neutral before then.
Is she worth it?

Ha ha! Brilliant post FC…love starting the day with a chuckle!
I’m not so excited about this, but that’s maybe because I’m not a fan of hers. But I’m looking forward to Cannes 2013.
oh no
ugh no.
In Cannes she wont stand a chance to the other ladies like Eva and Diane.
I’m just not a fan of her at all.
+1
I like Lea but I must say L’Oreal has so many spokespersons that it confuses me, really.Between Eva,Freida, Jane Fonda, Milla, Ines,Gwen,Natasha and co it’s a lot.
About Cannes you’d better get ready for some Marchesa and Oscar de la Renta moments, I don’t know how I feel about that.
With that hideous ombre hair color which does nothing for her but cheapen her look and clash with her complexion? ROTFLMAO. Maybe she’ll go back to her beautiful glossy brunette tresses for the commercials….
well i know she’s not everyone’s favorite but i think she deserved a congratulations. there’s no denial she’s very talented, so good for her
Loréal does animal testing right? I never thought Lea would sign with them.
Camilla Belle would have been a better choice.
Some of these comments I think are unnecessarily negative. I think she will be good as she has shown that she can do big moments of high glamour which is what Cannes is all about.
Who?
Excuse my bluntness, but why in the world would L’Oreal choose Camilla Belle to be its face? The girl is hardly influential on the red carpet, and hardly influential period. While I’m not particularly a fan of Lea Michele, she has her good moments and Glee is one of the biggest things in pop culture right now.
Yea for Lea…
She is usually such a try hard on the RC, that Lord only knows what she’ll do at Cannes!
can the folks at l’oreal get her to back off of the fake tan & caked on makeup?
She shouldn’t be the “face” of anything.
LOL, so true. I think she’s been chosen because she’s famous. And I think they will use lots of photoshop to make her hair look beautiful. I mean she has beautiful hair which she likes to ruin. Plus, she’s so tacky. I would have chosen somebody fresher, she looks 35… and I agree with Amy, L’Oréal has too ambassadors, but I don’t care, I don’t use their products, they test on animals.
I can already picture the hair swooshing and flicking.
Oh no, she will pollute Cannes! No no no! Haha
Haha, your post made me laugh! But I agree, let’s see which petite actress rules over who: Eva vs. Lea. To be honest I am not sure why she was picked but maybe it’s because of her age as I suppose she’s the youngest of all their ambassadors. She also has girl next door looks so maybe that was also part of the reason as she’d appeal to a wider customer base. But yes can someone pls give her hair a ‘one colour’ feel as the light&dark action is not happening!
Lol! Definitely looking forward to it now. Bring it on Cannes. She’s a beautiful girl, I’m happy for her. It’s nice to see people with talent recognized also. And maybe they’ll fix her atrocious hair and return it to its former glory.
Oh no really not a fan of hers have no idea why she was picked she is such a try hard
I think her nose is too big to be representing any makeup brand. It’s not an elegant big like Cate Blanchettor or Gisele, it’s just unattractive . Sorry…
wow, you may not like her, but this is rude……..
and extremely tasteless
she cant compare with Aishwarya Rai
