The Blonds Spring 2013 collection was all about glamour – as always – but this time with a capital G.
Think Madonna meets Esther Williams at Malibu Barbie’s beach house and you have a collection full of sexy signature corsets, sky-high Louboutin heels, latex uber skinny pants with shark fins and model with platinum blonde wigs with latex headbands.
One of the corsets was an ode to the Christian Louboutin ‘Pensee’ pumps, another had a smeared lipstick print and Phillipe Blond took to the runway wearing a ‘Jaws’ inspired corset.
The final look received the biggest cheer of all as it was a stunning crystallized bodysuit with built in Louboutins.
Boys crashed the beach party some wearing vest and pants, others wearing nothing but tiny swim shorts. We didn’t know where to look.

i love that they were inspired a little by the dress kylie wore in the “in your eyes” video (look 4).
i must admit as “boring” as their collections become due to pretty much every collection looking the same, they do make fantastic performance pieces.
I love The Blonds but everything is so restricted to performers.
Anyway, the collection was wonderful!
Too funny! Calling them “swim shorts” might be a bit of an overstatement–maybe g strings would be more descriptive. Looks like a really fun show.

Wow I must admit I have a soft spot for the Blonds, I love Katy Perry in their outfits. Love that pic you posted of the guy in his swim trunks lol.
The Blonds 2013 collection has the same tacky corsets again.
These are costumes for drag queens. Not real fashion.

I agree The Blonds collection looks cheap and tacky. The clothes are like Halloween costumes and not real fashion. It looks like it was done by students and not real designers. It’s very pass’e!
Looks like a draq queen went crazy with a glue gun and some glitter & ribbons. Mixed with a couple hits on a meth pipe.
They would be perfect to wear for Halloween.
