Rachel McAdams was a vision in green at last night’s ‘To The Wonder’ premiere during the 2012 Toronto Film Festival.
The actress chose a floor-length Elie Saab Fall 2012 gown for the event.
There is something so beautiful about this verdant shade – and it matches Rachel’s eyes and skin tone perfectly.
The soft updo is the right choice, given the high neckline, and I really like how the bare arm balances the long sleeve and pleated bodice.
What do you think?

The only thing I like is the color. I am not a fan of one sleeve dresses like this — it just looks like a sleeve was ripped off. The neck and waist are just too busy. Nope, not a fan.
I agree. Actually I don’t mind the fussines of the bodice, but I really dislike the one-sleeve concept: I would have loved the dress if it was sleeveless.
Totally agree! Besides Rachel is not so tall. Then, she looks smaller with so much happening on the front of her dress…
love the color but there is just too much fabric engulfing her petite frame. it also looks like she has no neck
Exactly. I really dislike this dress on her, and also, the skirt is very creased.
I do love her hair and makeup, though.

Beautiful, I like it!
The color is really gorgeous and so are hair & makeup, the silhouette is balanced and flattering but I think one sleeve dresses are just not for her.
I like the color but not the dress.
I adore this! Elegant but with a twist – and sexy without being overtly sexy. Rachel’s hair is the perfect compliment to the dress and I agree with FC, the color is divine on her.
I find the whole look very aging.
It does age her somewhat and overwhelms.
What is up with the top? I don’t get what’s going on there? Don’t like it.
what. a. mess! on someone like tilda this would have been incredible but on rachel it is pretty horrible.
Oh yes I imagine Tilda now! She would look so good in this. Why don’t we see her much on the red carpet these days?
YASSSSS! this might have been a completely different experience on a seasoned, more regal canvas. As it is presented, monumental failure!
There’s too much going on from the waist up, which kills the whole look for me.
The color is perfection on her, but the dress itself is a mess.
I guess it would look better on a taller woman. It’s a beautiful dress, the color is great on her.

She looks divine. I love the color!
She looks too matronly, and it looks like she slipped her arm out of the sleeve and then tucked the empty sleeve into the front of her dress!

This dress would look much better on someone like Tilda Swinton.
Really like the style of the dress. She wears it well.
I like this a lot. I just wish she were wearing a sparkling cuff on the bare arm.
Color is beautiful. One arm is awful. LOL
i personally love this look especially the color of the dress as it perfectly compliments her eyes
) however im interested to know what you think of this look fc? xx
She looks very beautiful and very classy but there’s something a bit unflattering about the fit of the dress, but maybe it’s just the photo.
Love the color, but the style (forgive me, Mr. Saab!) is terrible. It looks like the other sleeves was partially ripped off and then haphazardly sewn to the front (where all that messiness is). Not a good look. It’s taking away from how pretty Rachel is.
I think this color is beautiful. I love the deep shade of green. It’s different and very vibrant. And it’s making me want to buy something in this color.
