Pippa Middleton In Alice by Temperley – ‘Shadow Dancer’ London Premiere

Pippa Middleton kept a surprisingly low profile during the Olympics. Judging by that tan, I guess she has been on vacation.

The socialite made a reappearance on the red carpet at the Cineworld Haymarket in London on Monday evening for the ‘Shadow Dancer’ premiere.

She wore one of her favourite designers, Alice by Temperley.

The black dress featuring a contrasting leaf motif lace draped detail was styled with L.K. Bennett ‘Silver’ sandals in black suede, an Emmy ‘Pippa’ clutch.

Once again this is a look which would’ve benefited from a simple black clutch and less eyeliner, of course.

You can buy Pippa’s Alice by Temperley ‘Ruby’ dress from farfetch.com and farfetch.com US.

honestly….don’t understand the appeal/fascination people have with this woman….meh!

    • Hailie August 14, 2012 at 13:39 #

Totally agree! I honestly feel like I must be missing something, everyone seems to rave about her and it just baffles me!

      • Christine August 14, 2012 at 14:05 #

I agree. Nothing special about her other than her “round” butt? Which is not that round LOL.

The look is pretty boring to me.

Thank you girls!!!! I totally agree with you!! I really don’t like her.. she borring and she always wear too much make-up.

    • Jones19 August 14, 2012 at 13:53 #

Same here. She has zero sense of style.

  3. Yeliz August 14, 2012 at 10:37 #

Simple black clutch, less eyeliner and an updo.

  4. Ade August 14, 2012 at 10:38 #

How this woman gain recognition is beyond me. She is extremely basic.

  5. Alina August 14, 2012 at 10:43 #

    Nice dress.

No words for the eye makeup.

  6. T from Sydney August 14, 2012 at 11:10 #

wow she looks much older than her sister. the tan (fake or real) ages her.

i dont get the Middleton and their heavy application of eyeliner.

i like the dress but i wish she had her hair up

FC in the Olympics opening ceremony which country’s uniform was your favourite??

  7. bas August 14, 2012 at 11:15 #

Boring dress. I totally agree with you about the clutch and eyeliner.

  8. noo August 14, 2012 at 11:15 #

i love the clutch with the look, but i will never be ok with the eyeliner

  9. Lee Ann August 14, 2012 at 12:05 #

Fake tan, bad makeup, horrible dress. I am going with Karl on this one.

The 2nd pic is almost scary!? This is a bit funny.. I am an Indian and for us (thick) eye liner/kohl is almost a must and we normally never see it here as ‘being excessive’.. in fact, if I don’t use Kohl, I feel I am looking unwell! slowly after reading FCs blog over a long period.. I have started appreciating the finer nuances of overdoing things.. whether its the eyeliner or the bling factor :)

I like the clutch with the dress but the eye-liner application is awful.

    • Nat39 August 14, 2012 at 19:45 #

Don’t have a problem with the clutch either, it works just fine. Her makeup is what bothers me, and the hair shoud’ve been pulled back.

  12. TeaAtTwo August 14, 2012 at 13:42 #

I like the clutch with the dress but the eye-liner application is awful. While a bit better than nude or black pumps a pair of more interesting (non LK Bennett) sandals would’ve elevated this look.

  13. TL August 14, 2012 at 14:30 #

Is it a problem with the lighting or is it her weird-colored tan, cuz her skin color looks horrible.

  14. cat August 14, 2012 at 15:29 #

Why does she always looks so old? Her skin is so leathery and she is only 28!

    • [email protected] August 15, 2012 at 19:25 #

To much sun and here you go-looking extremely old!

  15. Emmeline August 14, 2012 at 15:59 #

My eyes are so offended right now. I can’t even see the dress, only raccoon eyeliner and leathery skin. Eeek!

  16. Eirwen August 14, 2012 at 17:14 #

That’s not a girl anymore, that’s a human sized scorched carrot, dressed in a boring dress and bad styling.

  17. Betelgeuze August 14, 2012 at 19:18 #

    Oh god.

    The tan.

    Why?

It aged her drastically. I swear she looks 20 years older than she should. Plus with that intensity she looks rather clowny.
I was torn on the topic of wearing SPF, but after seeing this I’m buying at least factor 25 for my face.
After I managed to look at something else than her poor skin, I must say that the clutch is interesting but the overall look is boring. With that much tan she should have worn something with lots of colour, maybe then she wouldn’t look so horrifying.

  18. Amy August 14, 2012 at 22:55 #

this is all I have to say : Stop with the tan!

  19. EmmaWoodhouse August 15, 2012 at 04:53 #

Nice dress, nice clutch, but not together. As for the tan and the eyeliner…just…NO.

  20. manja August 15, 2012 at 13:27 #

    The tan, the eyeliner… Ahahahahahahaha…NO!

  21. elaine2 August 15, 2012 at 15:35 #

I think the dress looks cheap.

  22. Dhppy August 16, 2012 at 01:42 #

Oh dear. I don’t like any of it. She’s a pretty girl, and I don’t think she looks 20 years older than her age as some have said, but she clearly needs to spend less time in the sun and more time with a stylist.
