Jessica Alba stopped and posed while attending the 2012 Giffoni Film Festival in Giffoni Valle Piana, Italy.
Alba payed homage to Italian designers by wearing a head to toe look created by perhaps the most iconic of them all — Salvatore Ferragamo.
The actress glowed in a sweet white wrap dress accented with a brown satin trim. To offset the baby doll nature of her frock, Alba buckled on a pair of Ferragamo’s ankle strap heels.
Her simple hoop earrings and unassuming updo let the ensemble speak for itself and alluded to the easy, California girl dressing that makes Alba one of our favorite no-fuss fashionistas.
My only wish? That she had chosen a bracelet or cocktail ring to add a little formality to the look. But do you agree? Or are you happy with Alba’s accessory free simplicity?

Well, consider that Giffoni is a Film Festival for kids and youngsters, so what may appear a little too informal for any other Festival, is quite appropriate for this one.
I think she looks really cute, I love the white & brown combo.
Perfection, IMO.
I absolutely adore the way the shoes complement the lines of the dress.
I think she looks boring and middle-aged. Whilst I understand the event required an audience-appropriate outfit, she could have really made it more fun with some colour. I also think the shape of the dress makes her look sort of boxy.
Absolutely lovely in its simplicity – everything is clean, simple and complementary without any overpowering bright flashes/pops of colour, and yet not dull or boring. Well done.
I agree with you. It’s simply beautiful.
So gorgeous as is.
She looks gorgeous.
Simple and flawless
BDOTW contender for me, she looks so beautiful and chic. I love this look from head to toe.
Flawless!
I’m in the minority here. Usually I love Jess’s style but not liking this. The styling is great but I don’t like the dress. I don’t like what is going on with the top section and I don’t find this flattering.
