As young girls we all wanted to have that Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo Cinderella moment. Well, thanks to Christian Louboutin, that dream could very well come true.
Yesterday I was invited to the unveiling of the modern-day version of Cinderella’s iconic glass slippers in collaboration with Disney (prior to the Cinderella Blu-Ray release on October 2).
The butterfly-accented lace heels with Swarovski crystal embellishment and the designer’s signature sole is even more stunning in reality.
In the spirit of the fairy tale, one lucky US fan will have the chance to win a free pair of the limited edition Cinderella heels. Details to follow.
Like the Christian Louboutin ‘Marie Antoinette’ heels, only 20 pairs of the Cinderella heels will be produced with one pair most definitely going to Dita von Teese and the butterfly loving Mariah Carey.

Oh, so sweet and princess-y. Exactly what Cinderella’s glass slipper should look like. I’d display them, never to be worn, lol.
Haha, I was thinking the same thing! I was like, “I’d just get a display case and never wear them.”
Hahaha I seriously wanna step in Dita’s or Maria’s shoes… whenever it is Cindrella’s shoes
Is it me or all these new CL shoes seem to look gaudy and kitschy?
They are. Tacky tacky tacky
It remained unclear to me was it or was it not made of glass.
made of lace
my god it is ugly
Agree. Ugly, tacky and tasteless
Don’t like it, tacky!
I think I will wear these shoes in heaven
I wouldn’t wear these shoes to be honest, but they really look lovely and exactly like Cinderella shoes.
I think it’s ugly but then again I prefer Italian shoe designers! Louboutin is so overrated to me
PLUS ONE
those tacky platforms must disappear
those are seriously ugly. i dont quite get the butterflies, they make the shoe look more “glinda” than “cinderella”
yes, this screams Mariah Carey
other than that I find them rather ugly :S
lol
Mariah Carey was my first thought too.
I find these really ugly and would probably never wear them.
Wow. How is this remotely Cinderella-like? I’m pretty sure butterflies had absolutely nothing to do with the fairytale. Fail.
I always thought Bridget’s Back and Very Mix in silver were his answer to the Cinderella shoe…. these are cutesy for a fairytale…. but they are conservative for my taste even wit’ the butterflies….
I would cut of my pinky toe for these shoes. LOVE them.
I would love to win this shoe. FC, spill the details on how to win LOL
The shoe is stunning.
It hasn’t been released yet, but I will let you know when I know
yikes!
so tacky!
I think they would look much less tacky if they didn’t have the large butterfly over the peep toe.
I don’t like them. Maybe it’s just me, but I honestly don’t think of Cinderella when I see these.
I see I’m not the only one who hates them. The embelleshments are tacky, but the shape/cut of the uppers are downright ugly, whatever materials or embelleshment you might use to execute the design.
