Michelle Pfeiffer joined her co-star Elizabeth Banks on the red carpet at the Regal Cinemas LA Live Stadium for the ‘People Like Us’ premiere on Friday.
The actress wore a Christian Dior Spring 2012 dress.
Michelle has pretty much stuck to an all-black or mostly dark-colour palette with a fitted silhouette for some time now, so this flirty cocktail dress with a floaty skirt and grey and white stripes is very, very refreshing.
Blown-out locks, a Rona Pfeiffer Ribbon ring, a maroon Judith Leiber minaudière and black pumps completed her look.
The dress says spring, but her accessories say fall. Sandals would’ve perfected the look. Those black pumps feel so heavy for this look considering how light the dress is.

I was very excited about this look until I saw the shoes so only love this look from the ankles up. Silver-grey or even red sandals would have been wonderful.
Red sandals would have been amazing, I agree.
Without the movement evidenced on the runway, this dress is a snooze.
I love this dress on her, it is so flattering…I love this color grey too!
boring!
its such a lovely dress but does give good photo
sorry should read does not give
The structure of the dress is lost on Michelle, (don’t think it’s just the ‘movement’ thing on the runway). Sandals would’ve def. been a much better choice.
Agreed, somehow the dress lost a lot of volume from the runway version and falls a little flat.
She’s such a gorgeous women… She can do so much better. The dress doesn’t flatter her figure, the shoes are boring.
It may be the awkward way she is standing that brings the look down.
It seems to me that you hate pumps. You mentioned that with Emma Stone’s London Spider-Man Premier too.
