Kirsten Dunst opted for a vibrant hue on the red carpet this evening for the ‘On the Road’ Cannes Film Festival premiere.
The actress wore a stunning Christian Dior Pre-Fall 2012 gown.
Her fuchsia column gown with a black leather belt accent is simple, but with that bright colour, chic styling and Louis Vuitton bedazzling Louis Vuitton minaudiere we have another great Cannes look from Kirsten.
Louis Vuitton high jewelry including Apsara earrings and a ring were teamed with glossy waves and a pretty pink lip colour to completed her look.

She looks incredibly gorgeous! And love love love the color of that dress. She looks impeccable.
I LOVE this look on Kiki.
She looks lovely, the color is scrumptious, her clutch makes me salivate and her earrings are a perfect touch.

+3 couldn’t agree more, this look is to die for!!
I love this look, it’s beautiful, simple and chic but I much prefer her photocall look over this one.
Ditto
As soon as I saw the first picture, I immediately knew what dress she was wearing and I couldn’t be happier. The dress itself may be a bit simple, but the color looks so amazing on Kirsten.
Though I haven’t seen pictures of her shoes yet, all of the rest of the styling is totally on point. From hair to makeup to accessories – she looks gorgeous. I’d love to see her come back to Cannes as a juror someday.
So chic and beautiful, but I miss the “WOW” factor…
gorgeous..i love her style!
This is my favorite look from her. Fuchsia is one of the color trends of the summer. The earrings and clutch set it off nicely.
Her styling is spot on, the pretty embellished clutch and earrings along with her pretty standout hair elevate the simple look, no need for anything extra technically, but I can’t help but wish for that bold statement necklace on the model as it really livens up the otherwise very plain neckline (but she would’ve probably had to ditch her pretty accessories and pull her hair back if she’d chosen to wear it)
Now she is the queen of chic, sophisticated beautiful looks! On anyone else this might have looked underwhelming but her personality just adds so much to her outfits!
It’s a pretty dress and she styled it well (love the clutch) but I’m disappointed.
I prefer her photocall look.
love it. those earrings are exquisite.
DDG = Drop Dead Gorgeous !

She looks so different – I had to do a double take to recognize her. She looks great.
She’s two for two today, great look. In contrast to Stewart, she looks polished and pretty. Utterly beautiful.
In the runway styling the black belt makes sense, supported by the necklace and then the shoes, but with Kirsten, I feel like the belt is jarring and has no relation to anything. The color of the dress is gorgeous and so is she, but I’m just not completely wowed
I loved the Dior pre-fall for it’s classic elegance. This is such a beautiful dress and suits her so much. But the photocall look was so great that this stays in it’s shadow.
I LOVED that dress the minute I saw it! I do have to say I love how it was styled so I hoped Kirsten had kept the necklace
Simple but flawless. Cannes brings out the best in her…
Her style is so refined. Very classy indeed
OMG she looks like Kim Cattrall!
I want to love it, but I don’t. It has no shape and makes her look kind of dowdy, in spite of the vibrant color.
I agree. The dress looks really shapeless. I do like the colour and her accessories, though.
I love me some fuschia and Kirsten is rocking this!
Love the color and the clutch.
Kirsten’s styling is beautifully done. The dress however, is so simple, it’s barely a concept. Perhaps people at Dior were just holding the house down until Raf Simons could come in and do something creative.
That is an expected choice – which is great we always welcome surprising choices – I have to say I like it a lot, a part of me wishes she had worn a necklace or several a la Anna Wintour, but I enjoy the simplicity of it and how that bold colour is the main focus – she does very well at Cannes (expect when she ruins a dreamy Chanel with black pointy shoes) – but overall this and the superb photo look call make her one of this year’s style winners on the Riviera
Love it!
What’s great about this dress is that it serves as a vibrant medium for amazing styling. Kirsten does just that and makes it one of the best looks of the day! I LOVE the clutch, her jewelry and her hair–really a fabulous look.
