Amber Heard attended the 2012 Met Gala in New York City tonight as the guest of Zac Posen.
The blonde beauty was in full bombshell mode wearing a strapless gown from the designer’s Fall 2012 collection.
Her orchid duchess satin bustier gown teamed with Tiffany jewels is stunning; Zac found a perfect Coco replacement to give us a ‘wow’ moment.
I would have loved the gown more without so much bustle at the back.
A retro wavy updo and red lippie completed her look.

I hate the tan on Amber. Her tan is the only try hard thing about her look. I would love the runway version on Amber in blue without the tan and with lighter lippie. The red lipstick and the tan with the mauve gown confuses me. But this is definitely a MET Gala gown.
I think it’s ugly. She is a beauty but that dress is not flattering.
And omg at the back

Preferred the runway blue…the bustle doesn’t work for me at all AND she has too much cleavage. The tan doesn’t work either.

I like the color. The silhouette is certainly va va voom. Her OTT posing, dark roots, dark eyebrows, and overflowing decolletage (again) are big turnoffs for me. Is it me or are folks getting a bit heavy-handed with the spray tan? Noticed it with Camilla Belle too….

I love it with the bustle…it keeps the gown from being just another pretty mermaid dress. Her pose is also perfect, in such a curvy gown you can’t just attend there… You have to work it!! Lol

Sure this gown don’t have the infamous boob-holders but the look isn’t that much better. Here it’s Amber’s horrible tan and make up that ruins the look.
i usually adore amber but this is just “meh”. she seems to have gotten a tan and the dress color doesn’t suit her! if it was in a deep burgundy maybe it would have done her more justice! just so disappointed :S

This is not a new silhoutte, neither for Amber nor for Zac Posen. But she does look great and the dress is beautiful!

IMO, this was one of the worst looks of the night. That color is extremely meh and does absolutely nothing for her. Plus, I just CAN’T get passed that weird hair and the dark roots…
I agree with most people here who say that the colour is uninteresting, along with the tan. It’s a silhouette we’ve seen many times before and as it’s the MET Gala, my attention is going to the more daring gowns.

In thumbnails in particular, this reminds me of Charlize Theron’s Dior boob swirle dress a few years ago at the Oscars. Just me? All these strapless mermaid gowns really start blurring into each other now…
both of the two colors are stunning. if the dress without the complicate back, it would be more better. Anyway, Zac gave ua a “wow” monment.
