2012 Met Gala: Who’s Taking Who?

The 2012 Met Gala, i.e. the night of 1000 dresses, takes place later this evening.

This year the work of Elsa Schiaparelli and Miuccia Prada will be celebrated. So far the only people confirmed to be attending as a guest of Prada are Carey Mulligan and Gwyneth Paltrow.

If her Venice Film Festival Prada gown is anything to go by, we should be in for a treat.

For the first time ever, the Met Museum and Vogue will be hosting a red carpet live from 6:30-8:30 pm (EDT) on Vogue.com, MetMuseum.org, and Amazon.com.

This year I will be guest blogging for Net-A-Porter.com, which is very exciting for me as they have never had a guest blogger take over their Twitter handle.

Here is a list of the already-confirmed designers and their guests.
