Here we have the rest of the looks from the 31st Hong Kong Film Awards which took place in Hong Kong last night.
Gao Yuanyuan: The stunning actress wore an Alexander McQueen Resort 2012 nude gown with beautiful lace embroidered details. Her sleeveless, high-neck gown was teamed with a silver Bottega Veneta clutch. This gown is divine. I’m delighted that the colour doesn’t wash her out because she’s radiant. Side-swept locks and silver jewels completed her look.
Lun-mei Guey: The actress was also beautiful in blue wearing a Bottega Veneta Spring 2012 gown. Her layered silk-chiffon gown with black silk-chiffon underlayers was teamed with sapphire earrings and blue heels.
Hailu Qin: I love Hailu Qin’s summery Tadashi Shoji Spring 2012 strapless gown. A stunning statement necklace provided an interesting contrast to her sweet floral-print gown.
Michelle Chen: The actress wore a Valentino Resort 2012 strapless gown which shimmered on the red carpet due to its intricate embroidered details. Her jewelry was kept simple in order for her gown to be the main focus of her look.

The asian red carpet is thee best.
I may not know who they are but I can always count on them bringing the glamour.
I absolutely agree with you! They are always classy and demure, something that doesn’t always translate on other red carpets IMO!
Exactly!!
Totally! I love these looks!
Gao’s is a little dull (colorwise) but still elegant,Lun-mei looks STUNNING, Hailu looks very springlike, and Michelle is SO regal! These are all BDOTW contenders imo but I think that Lun and Michelle are my favorites.
Gao and Lun-mei are the best as they didn’t overcook their looks with necklaces. The Valentino gown needed a bare, elegant decoltage to offset the stunning bodice of the gorgeous gown.
I choose Lun-mei as her gown suits her perfectly in everyway- even her crop and earrings. Swoon. She reminds me of Erin O’Connor.
+1
The Bottega Venetta is my favourite – The Alexandre Mcqueen is OK – The remaining two are not that interesting
Lun-mei Guey’s Bottega Veneta gown is just everything: color, cut, draping… oh! Beautiful!
Agree!
I agree.
Blue is def. on a roll.
Everyoen looks beautiful and elegant, btu my favourite is easiyl Gao. I adore the colour, but more than that I love how it drapes & she looks so utterly effortless in it. After that I love Michelle in teh Valentino ith the stunning necklace, although, rather dissappointingly, the dress instantly reminded me of the Valentino that Sarash Larson wore to teh Oscars when she was George Clooney’s date (2008?), which I really didn’t like.
Also, thanks so much FC for covering Asian events. They always put a smile on my face because everyone manages to look wonderfully put together, elegant, glamorous and effortless all at one time, and seemingly nobody else covers asian red carpets, so it is wonderful that you do!
it is always my pleasure x
So classy and beautiful!!!!
Anyone knows who was the designer for the gown Coco Lee wore that night? It appeared quite dramatic on TV. Thanks.
i think michelle chen’s dress aged her.
